They create new sound with every new album/Eps they know how to keep things fresh plus just cause the song is slow doesn't mean they are going soft or anything like that I fucking love everything this band as done from the Cane Hill Ep to Too Far Gone I can't wait to hear the rest of the Ep.
One thing that I really admire and like a lot about Cane Hill is the incredible guitar work. James really showed off his talent on Kill the Sun and Too far Gone. His guitar playing has its own personality and feeling and that's something that really draw me into Cane Hill.
I fucking love this sound. You would think a change of pace from a band that came straight out the gate with a heavy sound couldn’t execute something soft and melodic, but this right here, something about it is just dark, yet so beautiful. That chorus is powerful.
That makes no sense. Metalcore bands of late have been shifting their sound more than pretty much every other genre of music. It's weird now if they don't. Plus, it's not hard at all for a band that plays heavy to go soft. It's more simplistic and most of the difference is in distortion. Any artist that begins with this style though would be shocking to end up on the opposite end.
Lol that is kinda tru huh , we always see artists evolving toward a more soft sound and sometimes even "go back to their roots or at least incorporate the heavier sound into later art but you never rlly hear of artists starting soft and progressively get more heavier over time🤔 someone should do it @@JustSomeKittenwithaGun

They always have 1-2 softer songs per album idk what there is to complain about. You can be heavy in sound, but also lyrics. You can't sound the same all the time. Everyone always seems to want music that sounds nothing but like Sonnet of The Wretched from Chelsea Grin with no other variation. Bands gotta grow, they gotta express themselves. Learn to relate to the lyrics. This songs meaning can go deep if you're not blind.
@@ianwaldrop4738 ye I saw one of their later posts saying this album is about all the left over emotions after Too Far Gone and that this whole album will be the softer songs/semi-acoustic.
I mean, a band can sound the same all the time if they choose to, but it's boring and unoriginal. People hate when bands stagnate, they hate when bands go soft. The happy medium is to stay fresh and explore new ideas without losing the core of the band, it's just a difficult thing to do effectively.
This is exactly the sound ive been dying for my ears to experience and the fact that its cane hill blows me away! Whatever you guys did to create this song and sound 10/10 GOOD FUCKING JOB!!!
I don't know what it is about this song but I cant stop listening. It's soothing and addicting, calming and I don't know... Ethereal? I don't know what the word is but I love it nonetheless

But I'm gonna give it a chance. I'm really intrigued to see what the whole new album will sound like. Cane Hill hasn't disappointed me yet.

@@VoidSt4 My comment was in reference to how quick they put out new music since Too Far Gone only came out in January. Cane Hill, the only reason why I still come back to Rise Records. This is ome of the most underrated, amazing bands out there right now.
