You started making small domino videos (13 years ago) and now you´re a pro domino builder who can see if things are real or not just like its easy peacy
This was great! I was hoping you'd make a video like this at some point ever since the original came out. It was interesting to hear you point out areas where the falls weren't quite realistic, I imagine it's the limitations of the physics simulations to fully account for real life factors (and also at the end, where they needed the full tower to fall down quickly for the shot so they just triggered additional fall spots from the back even though it was the front domino that tipped over)
The guy near the final structure as it was falling. Absolutely hilarious but a lot of fun. Colors are very beautiful 😍 👏👏👏😁👍
I wish I could try to simulate even 1,000,000 dominoes . . because 70.000 dominoes slows my computer allmost to a standstill
so for over 1,000,000 I'd need a super-computer
I saw this about a year ago, and I could tell that this was unrealistic, due to the perfect unison of several domino collapses.

There is something else that I noticed about the clip underneath the bridge there is 2 dominos that split into 10 dominos
Every domino builder that ever tried to build dominoes outside for a screenlink or such, knows that this video is not realistic.

(1:34) No, it's not. The explosive will end up splitting the domino in two, sending the rubble in both directions, and causing what's on the other side to topple as well. This didn't happen in the video, but in real life I think it would happen.

It’s interesting to watch these and see if maybe fiction can inspire reality.
I do have some drone footage of a small domino setup, so it’s definitely possible. With some testing I bet you could do it with a bigger setup. A high ceiling is helpful.
Another fun fact: if the dominoes are two feet apart a chain of 3,000,000 would be about 1,100 miles long. Structures would reduce the amount of space required. But there’s no way this has that many dominoes.
The dominoes with rounded edges (like the white ones at 2:31) are hard to set up even indoors 😀

I think it would be impossible. The dominos at the bottom of the giant tower would (I think) break from the weight.
Also, none of the dominos end up breaking.

It's a fun, entertaining, and well-made video. But it's clearly not real. They are overacting in the way people typically do in fake viral videos. The way the dominos fall doesn't seem quite real (too slow). They would never get permission to do this in public, and if they did, there would be barriers and police to protect the public. (And there would be a lot of public.) They would not be so close to the dominos since it's clearly very dangerous. The texture of the dominos doesn't seem quite real. And so on. Also, there is a difference between realistic and real. It could be realistic without being real. In this case, it's not quite realistic and it's not real.

That video you reviewed is so fake. The CGI was totally obvious. The only "real" domino was the "gold" domino. Total click bait. 😡 Waste of time
