Useful, thanks for this video! Followed the instructions and made it. I also managed to extract the HDD without removing the keyboard flat cable. It is less comfrotable but I tend to avoid to mess up with flat cables... It may be worth adding that the 2 of the 5 bottom screws are longer than the other 3 and they go in the rear side holes.
Thanks for this... i recently came across an asus eee pc 1005HA netbook with a stuck startup screen and i needed to know how to take this thing apart so i could diagnos it. I was able to fix the problem by disconnecting the cmos battery from the motherboard for 30sec, reconnected it, put the netbook back together and it booted right into XP like nothing had ever happened and running like new once again.
Thanks, you probably had good intentions. Unfortunately the entire video is out of focus. And the music sounds like an injured sheep bleating in pain. I would have turned off audio, but I had a vain hope you would say something helpful.
