- I found this footage that I took at the end of May that I forgot to finish editing due to being busy. This morning I decided I would go ahead and finish the edit and upload it. It's short but I think it's pretty good.
This is just from the Lover's Leap area. I have a bunch of footage from other area's of the construction that I hope to get uploaded in the next couple of weeks. Keep checking in for more updates
Highway 58 mountain (Lover's Leap Mountain) in Patrick County Virginia is being widened to a 4-lane road. Every couple of months, I post a quick update for the locals to keep up with the progress. Hubbard 1 Productions is not paid in any way for the Highway 58 videos. This company feels that the time spent shooting and editing these videos is time well spent keeping the area informed.
Despite all the Construction Bulldozers and Dump-Trucks, Meadows of Dan is still a beautiful place to visit. We have Poor Farmers Market, Concord Corner Store and the all-new Frontier Farm and Home Center. Plus don't forget to get Lunch or dinner at Jane's Country Cafe.
Meadows of Dan offers lot's of Vacation rentals like Mountain Waves Yurt for a Blue Ridge Mountain getaway.

Hey thank you for your video of the road footage I was just up there today July 12th 2024 I took my little kitten to the vet at Boyce and Holland veterinarian services in Stuart to get her shots and we rode up there to Lover's leap filmed a little short video but nothing like this I couldn't get any of the road work footage I found yours tonight they have really been doing a lot of work up there I used to go up there a whole lot years ago that hadn't been since they doing all this work I live about an hour and a half from there thanks again for your video of this

Yeah! Great job! They're surely cutting up the mountain, but they need to leave the original road for some Pike's Peak type action, lol!
We got the "ho chi minh" trail trail for that.....A.K.A. Rt 8 between Floyd and Woolwine.
