Thank you for bringing this back christian I have some of these releases but there are others I still don't have like Tenebrae and God Told Me To I got the Spanish ghoulies but I won''t get to watch until after Christmas because it's one of my gifts for under the tree
i certainly can, the reason i included the ones i did in hear, is for the updated scans on the blu rays as well, making it worth it for those that arent 4k yet (in my opinion of course) so if i do a 4k release episode, its gonna be titles that you NEED to be a 4k person to have.
The arrow version of Tenebrae is also a good one, it's very similar but the artwork is different and even though it say's the bluray is region B, it works in any region, i know this because I don't have a region free. I own both releases of this movie an am glad I due mainly just because the artwork, but the content is the same on both.
The problem with Coppola's Dracula, at least for me, is it's more of a love story than a horror movie. I think Coppola really wanted to tell a love story and make Dracula an anti-hero more than he wanted to make a scary movie. I just wish he had leaned waaaaay more into the horror aspect.
I absolutely LOVE physical media. I own VHS tapes, DVD’s, Blu-rays, and 4K’s. I’ve been a collector, especially for certain franchises, for decades. Now, I agree with you that we have to support this stuff to keep it alive. But, as of late, there is an issue, and this is especially occurring with 4K discs. 1. I purchased Volume 1 of the Universal Monster 4K Icons of Horror collection. My Frankenstein 4K disc is scratched and freezes. That set cost me $60. 2. I purchased the Halloween 1996-2002 4K collection. That set cost me $100. My Halloween Resurrection 4K is scratched and freezes. As much as I want to keep buying physical media, I’m afraid that quality control has gone to sh*t over the last two years with physical media. It’s a shame, but I’m not going to keep spending hundreds of dollars on box sets to get discs that don’t work. It’s becoming a real issue.

92’s Dracula is my all time favorite adaptation and I’ve always loved that cover art. I may have to grab that Steelbook based off the art alone.
