I've been running a similar approach with Gas Grenades for my AT-Emplacement on bug. Really helps you relax a bit when the little guys are off your ass so you can clean up the bigger boys
I was messing with a stun build against bugs that worked pretty well in squads. You use a couple sentries and the new shotgun with stun shells to keep everyone in place while the sentries take everything out. If you gas nades it works even better because you can keep chargers from taking the sentries out.
I prefer this loadout for bots. BR-14D Adjudicator or Diligence Counter Sniper (depends on which I have the mood for) P-113 Verdict (shreds Berserkers and Devastators in a pinch) G-123 Thermite (deals with Fabs, Hulks, and Factory Striders) Cinderblock armor set (because it looks cool and it's a heavy armor) Stratagems: AC-8 Autocannon, Eagle Strafing Run, Rocket Sentry, Orbital 380mm HE Barrage AC-8 against armored stuff, plus the fact it can now stagger Hulks is very nice. Eagle Strafing Run, self self-explanatory. Rocket Sentry, is good for dealing with Hulks while you keep the trash at bay. Orbital 380, is excellent for a preemptive strike against Fortresses and Outposts.
It's a solid loadout but for a different playstyle. I like moving quickly with light armor and not having to be stationary to reload AC. I also rarely use 380 because it just isn't that satisfying to me when I throw one thing and it takes out an entire fortress or heavy outpost.
@@Not_Harvard I mean, thats the point of the 380mm Orbital, it's not really useful for much else, but I love sitting back and watch as 380mm HE shells pelt those bases and Automatons freaking out.
I used to enjoy the Autocannon a lot more but the stationary reload feels so bad after playing crossbow railgun since the buffs. Crossbow easily takes out fabricators and railgun is good for all larger enemy types.
It takes 5 thermites to kill them. If I spot them on the map I avoid until I have resupply available. If one gets dropped from reinforcement call-in, I'll take out the machine guns on the front with railgun, then focus on the rest of the enemies around, then full clip of exploding crossbow into the underbelly and fully charged railgun shots until it falls.
Maybe a mobile build, but definitely not an aggressive one... It's a squishy corner peaking build with little options for taking out bases or turrets at long range.
Depends on how you view 'aggressive' gameplay. With this build you're able to take whatever fight you want without having to constantly disengage and run. You can use gas to initiate then HMG to clean up outposts. You can use railgun for most enemies you'll deal with, and turrets can all be taken out with well-aimed crossbow or thermite. Swap out HMG with Commando and you have my favorite Solo automaton build in the game.
"Warning, you are in range of enemy artillery"
Always lmao
you're like my favorite helldiver channel brother
I appreciate that a lot dude. I've been really enjoying the game recently so I plan on doing a lot more content with the new faction and weapons.
Crossbow and Gauss is insane with ability
I cannot get over this roblox style 'first person view' with the zoomed out, tiny freaking scope
Another great vid! Love the builds!

@@Not_Harvard You are so right though! I'm working my way up to the crossbow and the explosive handgun as we speak :)
Hey - these vids are pretty smooth - how do you screen record without the frame rate getting very choppy
How do u deal with factory striders with the loadout

@Not_Harvard thx for answering
What was the purpose of breaking all the lights at extraction? 🤔
I've only just started the video so I've not seen it yet but the lights do contribute to being detected by enemies
@ 😳
They know what they did.
What is a gas strike for?
It's incredible against bots and can kill detector towers.
@@Not_Harvardcan I ask you why is it incredible ? Damage ? Or the gas itself does something to the bots? Thanks, awesome video!
@@TFeskthe damage is good and cool down is short
@@TFesk It does a lot of damage to bots and has really good CC. Also only an 80 sec CD so you can spam it constantly and have it up for every fight.
