Done on request and mission here is pretty much simple. Playing as Strider as much as possible while creating it really, really strong without the pointless level up where you play everything but the class you want just because you think numbers matter.

I would say "sadly, no", but in reality it is not really sad at all. I am working my ass off on my game. When I just thought I will be over, I kind of had misfortune of playing Horizon Zero Dawn where I saw exactly the thing I was missing in mine. Before that, wherever I was trying it, I couldn't shake feeling of how something is not as it should be.
Somehow I really couldn't nail the line between making parkour n00b friendly and at the same time respective to when someone knows how to play. Funny thing is that I got the idea from what Horizon does badly. So, I spent quite a bit of time playing Horizon and trying to find balance where now I finally feel like it is how I envisioned it. But, that also brought so many changes I started from scratch.
Will contact you over steam sometimes soon. I was hoping I could try and talk over one of my ideas for later with you as you are familiar with DD combat. I would like to know your thoughts on my idea as it is quite a bit different than DD.
That's good to hear. I am excited to see your results. I can understand exactly what you mean about finding a flaw in a game, and making it right in your image. That's awesome man.

I usually play with pawns because I like the team rpg feeling, even if the pawns can be stupid af, but well taught pawns are awesome to find and make it funnier for me. If you NEVER play with pawns, do you expect people to hire yours even if you’ll never hire anyone else’s?
this has nothing to do with the video but i just wanna ask you something, for keeping low level is not better to play in easy and always with 3 pawns? the experience will be reduced even more than just killing small creatures, maybe im wrong, oh
im using 2 rings of perseverance too, but i'd like to read your opinion about the easy mode and running with full party. I love your videos and also nihil's you both open completely my mind about this game :D
Easy or Normal is the same thing, only Hard is different exp. And the reducing on birds is minimal where I can be a lot faster solo where all you gain is MAYBE (and that is a BIG MAYBE) one level and a lot of time lost. I tried it once and not felt it is worth the trouble
I'm going to play on hard then, easy or normal are boring AF, but i like to play with my main pawn so she can farm DCP too. Thanks bro
No real need for that either. Pawn will earn exponentially more DCP the bigger the distance between you. But, the smaller the enemy the bigger the gain. One rat can raise him for 2 levels.
If you just use pawn when you reach 200 and go into the castle farming soldiers in post game... pawn will earn all vocations and level up to 200 in a bit more than 10 min. This also makes it really easy to level up pawn exactly as you want since you can just teleport out in front of inn.

Don't take it as general... that is purely my personal opinion based on my gameplay and my own likes/dislikes. My answer would be this... You should really go with what YOU think you like the most. Playing with vocation you like will most definitely be tons more fun than playing with one you don't like.
But, since you asked specifically about vocation and bosses... here is my personal opinion
Probably Strider or MK. Thing is that MK can often be used in non optimal way. If you decide on Strider you might want to watch this video th-cam.com/video/i9kAQaVPuzQ/w-d-xo.html
Then you have assassin which will be far from top performer, but his skills can really make game easier.
Sorcerer is good as well if you know how to use it. But, for a lot of people that can be really boring experience which couldn't be furthest from the truth.as I tried to show here th-cam.com/video/oBHFDSYecDo/w-d-xo.html
MA is yet another class that comes into good tackling with bosses. I don't really like it though, unlike most of the classes it really has no room for improvement. You figure it out in 10min and after that it is just repetitive where classes that are more complex like MK, Strider, Sorcerer allow you to grow efficiency with your proficiency. MA is helluva strong class, but it sucks on lack of growth and challenge
Every class can be fun way to play and game will feel like another game completely.

Question, trying the skull Spliter trick to avoid fall damage on an Xbox One, it has not worked for me. Has this since been patched?
No it hasn’t. You have to use the technique while moving forward. If you jump and then do skull splitter you will take fall damage. I play on next gen consoles too and it works for me.
Would you suggest me using autominy(bonus strength and defence when alone as a lvl 120?
Most definitely. No matter when. Autonomy is a charm if you play solo. Having it you can make more effective elemental weapons on melee builds

Pretty much the same thing as I show in that video about Shearing wind. Normal attacks do more damage, they don't lock you in place, getting out is faster and don't use stamina. I think that video really succeeds in explaining how important mobility and stamina management for strider is
Only time when I use Kisses is when climbing and that is pretty rare thing as game can be really plagued by clipping bugs there.
Hi there , I am a newbie level 77 assassin and my current stats without auguments are as below. Magic is not something I am comfortable with but I want to beat those phantasms and ghosts etc who don't take physical damage. How do you advise me to beat them as a solo assassin/strider.

I would appreciate a method or skill in which I don't have to switch on another class. Purpose of autonomy on assassin mean they should be able to kill any enemy solo.

thanks for the video and the advice. You have put a great effort and research in you videos. They are AMAZING!!! I see now that strider is miles better.
I am a first timer just in post game, have not touched bbi much yet.Your videos help a lot in understanding the skills and their effect.
Assassin kinda sucks with daggers. Successful hundred kisses or failed Masterful kill, both leave me bare open to enemy attacks.
Gale harness takes too much time to charge,invisibility is a cheat.Cutting wind is meh, feels like a blind bull stomping amok bazaar.
overall felt lacking with decent crowd control .
Some sword skills are useful though.
Full moon slash/antler toss /Dire gouge cover more enemies than dagger skills , but no dodging with swords.
Killed the phantoms with antler toss today but was not satisfied much because it was not a clean way to do .
Strider seems much better by looking at your videos.
I don't know what to do next, I've been playing this game almost exclusively since its PS4 launch. Always as a strider/assassin.
I only played the other vocations enough for certain augments. The warrior and the magic vocations seem to perform their skills so slow, unless certain equipment/augments help? Maybe time for me to quit the game and give Monster Hunter a try.
Sorcerer is not slow vocation, it is one of 3 more complex vocations and since not many really invest enough time into it, they get stuck with the most boring ways to play it

Same thing is about Mystic Knight. Once you know what you're doing it is one of the most fun vocations.
Also, I wouldn't say it is time to quit. I am gonna do Monster Hunter as well, but not quit Dogma. I tried demo and the games provide different ways of fun where one really complements other in giving you decision what kind of fun you want to have at the moment
I'll check out the video. I got a few more nights to finish my current playthrough (doing all quests/mission boards). I never did the quest where you have to collect all 13 fabled items. That's going to take time and luck. I think you have a video about it. I'll check it out.
I have video about weapons, but it is pretty much the same for that quest. Just make a table of which armors they purify into and don't care about lower level 3 armors. You will replace those with higher anyway, so you might as well take that quest as priority instead of armors you want
That’s why I like warrior I finally got bitter end which is the bbi sword for warrior and have it goldforged already and I have an augment where hanging on to a monster and hitting it does way more damage and I also have clout which augments strength a lot but when I don’t play with pawns I sneak up on my enemies with arc of deliverance and it usually takes more than half health
