    Oh my gosh, your little laughs and outbursts of chuckles make learning new patterns all the more enjoyable. Ive only been subscribed to your channel for a few months and i really do wish I'd found you years ago when i started up with crochet again after my gran passed away, you would of certainly made bittersweet memories all the more bearable with your sense of humor!

    Thank you! I was about to start my first C2C afghan, but was having difficulty grasping the concept/pattern directions. I followed your instructions whilst making a c2c dishcloth. I now feel confident enough to start the afghan.

    I've watched 4 other youtube videos of this c2c sc and this by far is the clearest I've understood it. I appreciate the rectangle version, as this will be the next blanket I make starting today.

    I made this with the colour yarn in the pattern way before this video and it works up so quick and is so easy, it was a tv blanket for me. I love the blanket, a bit smaller than I would have liked but only had enough balls for the pattern and couldn't find anymore after

    What if my first row says 180 grey. Do I chain 180 stitches

    • @TheCrochetCrowd
      @TheCrochetCrowd  ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you doing a corner to corner? A C2C shouldn’t have such a huge starting chain
      That number could be the color number.

    • @rikkithomas4457
      @rikkithomas4457 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheCrochetCrowdno it’s not the number of the color because it has a color block with the colors spelled out. it has color coated blocks also over top of the numbers on each row. It only gives me one number on the first row and doesn’t have any more directions. The first 7 rows just has 180 on it, and then the next row which is row 8 says is 113 grey, 4 black , 66 grey .

    • @rikkithomas4457
      @rikkithomas4457 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheCrochetCrowd I bought a c2c graphghan blanket pattern off of Etsy and I’ve been stuck on how huge the starting row is.
