- What does the inside of a giant jawbreaker look like when cut in half? We decided to find out. We could have smashed it on the ground and seen the pieces but I wanted a clean cut down the middle.
It took a while to use the right tools but we did it and loved the results!

I bought one of those jaw breakers when I was in the 2nd grade. I licked it everyday until my tongue started to bleed. I had it in a plastic bag, I took a break for a while but eventually lost it, three years later I was cleaning my room and found it. I continued to lick it and finished about half. I am a junior in high school now and I still have the half of my jaw breaker sitting in a plastic bag on my dresser! I hope to someday finish it, probably not any time soon!

Years ago, my brother's friend got a large jawbreaker (I believe it was the same as the middle sized jawbreaker they showed in the candy shop) while we were on vacation at my cottage. As he licked it, always from the same side, it wore down and you could see the rainbow pattern emerge growing from the inside out. The main problem was that his tongue started bleeding before he got halfway through!
This is why jawbreakers freak me out.
