Thank you so much for watching. It was wonderful. We can’t wait to go back. So we heard those are either molehills or marmot burrows. Being from south Florida we couldn’t even guess.
Hi it’s your neighbor on 2 continents- when time permits you need to share a visit to Santo Stefano di Sessanio - as always you did a great job! Saluti !
I believe the numerous mounds you saw on the ground were Marmot burrows. Marmots are common in that area and live at high elevations; they don't tolerate heat well.
Thank you so much. I’m sure that’s what it must have been. Being from south Florida, that was something I could only guess about. Thank you for watching!😀
Has Google maps ever taken you on a long journey only to find the road ends and picks back up on the other side of a stream or something and you have you have to drive another 30 minutes..I know sometimes it happens in the US and can be a bit frustrating 😅
Thank for watching! Luckily that has not happened but as you can see, it had brought down some questionable roads. All part of the great adventure 😀 Thank goodness all roads lead to Rome if I get lost

The "cowdroppings " are molehills 😊 Beautiful trip and stunning views !

Were these mounds molehills?
Thanks for watching. They may have been. I’ve never seen a molehill or mole, but I have made mountains out of them!
Probably marmots - common in that area. They live at higher elevations.
