Definitely, buddy. You saved me from an endless headache. I just have to accept that Maschine does not integrate perfectly with logic, but at least when you accept that, you can develop a working process. The most frustrating aspect of Maschine to Logic workflow has been lack of workflow. Ok, now i feel so much better about it. Cheers.

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarck !!! God bless your soul !!! God bless your family and friends !!!
Been trying to find this answer for so long.
Will show you my first maschine track when its ready...
    One question tho.
What is the use for the other chanels (midi) that create automaticaly?
The ugly ones on the right side of the mixer?
    Peace,,,

Video was a great help, thank-you. One question, why wouldn't you put all the drum sounds on separate midi channels in Logic for mixing purposes? Even though they don't have different pitches, it seems like you are losing flexibility unless Im missing something. Thanks!

Great tutorial Tom it helped alot, but what i want to know is how do i get a number of logic tracks playing each drum sample in a group and be able to mix, add plugs and automate each track separately in logic? in other words when i move the fader or add a BUS on one track they all change so whats the point in havin em apart from being able to edit midi notation??

    Thanks, that worked.

Thats my point too. NI didn't really make Maschine to integrate into a DAW easily. They want us to use it as a DAW itself I guess. All the different methods require so much tiny little settings, it really becomes too much and more chances of messing up somewhere without even knowing. Also just creates a huge speedbump in creative flow.

Hello I have this done pack thanks to you, but I have one question. When I drag my kits from MASHINE To logic when im changing my sound midi settings everthing works fine. But I cant here the sound out of my vst( Kontakt) in logic when it dragged from maschine but I see the midi data in piano roll. Even in Maschine I can hear it on my pads but cant see it if I wanted to slice it. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks

I have everything down to a tee, the only thing I cant figure out is one problem? I did the 16 tracks stereo, and when I change my group outputs it still comes out of one track. I even add tracks and change the group outputs but its not working. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong, thanks.

Hey, I am following all over your directions to get this set up, however, when I open up the maschine VST in logic, the Group instruments do not show up...the samples dont either. It says "0" next group on the physical maschine...no kits showing up, nothing....any idea how to fix this? Please help !! Thanks!

Hey how do you remove the drum pattern from Mashine when you drag it to logic. I right click it and it still is there? Do I need to delete it with my keyboard control shift? Thamks

  • @micahe

How do you silence the pattern after you has been integrated into Logic? It seems so easy when you do it. I tried clicking it but nothing happened. I'm using 1.8.
