I don't mind Jason and Kimberly being together. Tommy and Kimberly being together is definitely the most iconic relationship in the franchise, of course. I think I read somewhere that Jason and Kimberly were supposed to be a couple on the show before Tommy even showed up. But still, I think the two being together is okay. I mean, Tommy and Kat end up getting married and have a son. The 2017 film even decided to tease how Jason and Kimberly would be together. If that movie's sequel didn't get canceled then I'm sure that when Tommy would show up, it would cause a love triangle.
