Ryuk is a character from a popular anime called Death Note. He's a shinigami/grim reaper that bestowed his power to the main character. The main character could write a person's name into the Death Note notebook, and then that person would die. If you like horror movies or supernatural, it's worth checking out. But don't bother with the live action version.

I got extraordinarily lucky in New York. I hit my Ollie’s on the right day and got the trapper wolf. The next frigging day they were gone.
