This was such a simple time in my life. Just watching some Ninja videos in my Earth Science class in the middle of March, patiently awaiting the 3rd season of my favorite show, AOT, and playing fortnite when I got home from school. This early period of fortnite is super nostalgic, and I would do anything to have it back just for one day.

@@lemmy154 you could actually do decent damage with pumps and snipers and not accidentally hit for like 23. It’s sad how bad they’ve gotten. I still play the game and have a lil fun, but it’s not the game it used to be.
I still don’t think people understand how big ninja was! In most of these clips he has 195k subs (subs are 5+ depending on tier) *$195,000 x 5 = $975,000 in just 1 month alone* (not even his best month ever)
Man I remember summer 2018, Fortnite was the biggest game in the world, everyone was playing it, having a great time, Ninja’s Fortnite streams were also massive, his collaborations with Drake, Travis Scott, JuJu Smith-Schuster, a true blending of videos games, sports and music, a real fun time, happy days and beautiful memories, I miss that era of Fortnite.
Man, I started playing this game when I was in grade 10 with all my best friends. We all graduated and are all in our of college. This game really is something special aint it folks. We all stopped playing 2yrs ago😕
