Apparently that style (string piano) is an actual technique people do. The more blasphemous one is when the player(s) intentionally detunes strings while a note is being played to pitch-shift it. And that too is considered a legitimate technique.
This probably won’t be seen, but oh well. When I was 6, my mom showed me this video and it inspired me to learn the piano. A year later, I also picked up the cello. 9 years later, I still play piano and cello competitively and as a hobby. Thank you.

I still can't get over the pure joy and amazing chemistry between these guys - you can tell they're having the best time of their lives and that makes me happy.
What I love most about them is not their talent (don't get me wrong, they are SO talented) but how much passion and how much joy they have in creating music. You can obviously see with the smiles on their faces that they love doing what they do.
I think the passion is someone’s face really shows true musicianship. With all of there videos you really see it, but it’s different every time, they are amazing. They touch people in ways they do not even know and to me that is true musicianship!

They really have a different way of inspiring people. I grew up playing the piano but I never really fell in love with it until I watched this video and I was able to see the many things just one simple piano can do! They have changed they way I view music in general.
For real! It's been so long that I've seen a Piano Guys video. I still remember it that I really really liked it back then. But like memories are, you don't exactly know how much you can trust them. Now just through this one video that popped up in the recommendations after years, I see again why they are so special. I've watched so many videos today, and this one is the best of them all. It's just different, it tops them all. It just makes me so happy again. It's just looking into their faces making music with love one time, and it makes my day. Just makes me happy. They have that vibe that ignites your soul. And that's just that one video. I am nervous what will happen if I now start watching all the other videos again? Will I survive? Will I be able to sleep tonight? :D
my third grade teacher showed this to my class and i immediately fell in love with wanting to learn how to play the piano. fast forward almost seven years later, i have been playing the piano for six years. thank you to my third grade teacher for doing something as simple as showing my class this video, she really changed my life.

My grandfather's funeral was today. As i was alone at the viewing with him in his coffin,crying, in a very quiet room. This song starts playing over the funeral home speakers and i stop for a moment and go.... Is-is that one direction?? And start laughing because it was the last thing i expected to hear in that moment.

Wow- I remember when I was in 3rd grade and my music class teacher played this for us. I was amazed. I loved the song then and still love it now (nostalgia). And now, as a senior in high school, I am still blown away by this. Never got a chance to comment until I was finally allowed to make my own channel, and I am glad I am able to share my experience now, only 9 years too late.

Whether you are the keys, the strings, the mutes, the hollow wood, or even the keyboard cover you are important to the song. The song we are all living in, the story of what makes you beautiful.
