At the beginning of the year 2022 I've had the incredible opportunity to play and record the magnificent Marcussen-Organ in St. Laurenskerk Rotterdam which has been one of my favourite instruments in the 'Hauptwerk-Software' for a long time.

Came across this 7 hours before the stream started and was blue I could not attend church online and watch this live. I left the YT tab open falling asleep. I joined my church online for services in a new opened tab. I woke very late this morning, 8 minutes before worship service. Firing up a tab to join my church feed live, forgetting your tab was still opened. I heard both.
Our prelude at church online this morning was by piano (online). It was piano (pppp soft, full left pedal). Before I knew it, I heard the forgotten tab (you) and this live feed, silenced the piano at my church, but by perfect timing, I heard this (you) as I heard the call to worship narrative from my church this morning. Forgetting where it (this organ music came from). My ears lit up, my soul engaged by your music as I watched and heard the call to worship in my church this morning. Paul, I recognized *YOUR HANDS* and feet playing, completely forgetting this tab was still ho and live. It was a truly a moving experience to wake to Gods day, being overwhelmed by The Holy Spirit hearing THIS JOYFUL NOISE unto our Lord and Savior and the Call to worship concurrently.
Thank you Paul for anchoring this day, our day of worship this morning with a narrative from my churches Call to Worship and/by your music. Wow. it's your afternoon and my days beginning.
As I listened to the narrative call to worship this morning, your music AND I'm singing in my head to this score, I was fully immersed this morning at worship hour. It reminds me how incredibility vast this body of Christ truly is, over our planet, Gods Holy Kingdoms over all.
Keep providing the music as I can write the books of inspiration you have given to all of us. I know I speak for all, saying."We truly love who God made you to be, and with that said, we love you without condition, the man you are. May God move mountains and part the seas for you.
There are NO mistakes in Gods plans *NONE!* Search your soul Paul, you are deeply in this body of Christ, being the very person you are, your entire being, doing what God has called you to do. I have a smile across my face this morning that I have no control over. AMEN! and ENCORE. May God be with you 🙏🏼🤲🏼❤my brother in Christ.

I'm looking forward to all you have on this organ. Also, on the venerable baroque organs of Germany. Your playing is virtuosic, and the sound recordings are near "Deutsche Grammaphon" quality.
I hear only a few organists in the world offering the quality that you are providing. And that is not "fan" talk. I do not compliment organists' performances lightly. I cannot even imagine where you're going with your music, but I can hope it never gets stalled from wide public performance. No thanks to me needed. [full stop]

There's a lot of physical effort playing a fully mechanical instrument but you have the necessary stamina and strength to pull it off. And the video and sound quality are equally great. What a combination of skills you have.

Paul, I love these variations on Old Hundredth hymn tune. The first variation with the flute stops is one of my favorites. Thanks for presenting this video and transcribing your improvisation to sheet music.
