      Sir in the first coding question of largest valid bracket sequence sir,I have found out a solution.
      Sir plz reply if it is correct.
      The solution goes as:
      We are counting the number of brackets.
      Let no of (=x and )be y.
      Whichever among x or y is minimum that is the length of maximum Possible valid sequence.

    For round2, suffixMax question
    Maintain a set "s1", and keep inserting the element as you traverse the array.
    Maintain a suffmax array "suff" such that suff[i] gives the max element from i to n - 1.
    Now traverse the array, and for each element arr[i], binary search for the "largest element in s1 less than arr[i], call it X".
    So at each iteration our candidate for max would be X - arr[i] + suff[i + 1].
    Time complexity (O(nlogn))

    When they mess with candidates and don't give any feedback, don't reply to emails then it becomes unprofessional as they should always care about employer branding which is one of trends in HR management, marketing etc.

    • @siddharthjoshi9543
      @siddharthjoshi9543 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This will take two iterations: In the first iteration from right to left, create the suffix max array, where suffixmax[i]=max(a[i], a[i+1], ..., a[n-1]) for i = 0,...,n-1. Then use a set data structure and iterate from left to right, storing all the visited/seen elements. In this iteration: when we're at index j>=0, find the largest element (say a[i]) in the set smaller than a[j] (using equivalent of lower_bound() in c++) and check if suffixmax[i+1]>a[j]. If yes, and calculate a[i]-a[j]+suffixmax[j+1] and update the answer as maximum of answer and this value.

    This interview was as a fresher or experienced?
    Do they expect from a fresher to do well in these types of questions?
    Or they lower down the difficulty level for fresher?

    Given Length N, find the number of valid balanced strings possible
    Approach :
    N=(N>>1)1) (with j+=2)
    dp[i]-=dp[j]*dp[N-2*j]*dp[j];

    I'm not sure but i don't think you need dp for 1st round 1st question.

      Yes can be solved without DP but that's ok since there are multiple ways of solving it.

    I mean I like the video but please think before using words like "simple", "trivial" when telling how you solved them. Many of these questions here are Leetcode hard and you say they are "trivial". Maybe for a genius like you

    If you are applying for front end role or mobile dev role. What could be asked in system design?

      In general, if you’re targeting an entry level position, be prepared to design at a high level some product/ company. Be able to have an intelligent discussion on what components you’d use and why you’re using one approach over another (what kind of servers you’ll use, load balancers, database types, etc). Also be prepared to implement some objects that represent different items in your system (like a theater/ movies/ showroom classes for a Cinema Company). Also be prepared to write out what kind of API requests you can expect your system to make between different servers and databases.
