Once again, Tristan, thank you! The other day I FINALLY decided to "make the move" to RC from Southern Colorado. I'm blue in a blue state of mind, and red looks brighter to me! I grew up in the snowbelt of Upstate New York. 5 foot snow banks, swirling snow, windy! I was 17 then but not now! Don't want to let go of my RC dream.... more reality based planning! Wife and I moved to rapid from Minnesota. LOVED it there, but moved back bc of her parents health. We were really sad about leaving. Remember: BUY LOCAL, TREAT THE NATURE AND CITY WITH RESPECT, AND VISIT MICHAEL AND LESLIE AT ESSENCE COFFEE! 👍 lol. That is all.
Watching your videos helps. There's a good chance I'll be relocating with my fiancé because of my work. I've lived in cold climates before, she hasn't. She's use to South Texas weather, I don't know how to prepare her for it 😬 Hopefully she doesn't go into shock...lol.

We are in the middle of negotiations, but it looks promising that Rapid City will be our home. When I find out more details about an arrange trip for us to look around up there, I'll totally hit you up. I'm sure the rest of the team will have plenty of questions.
I currently live in Florida, interested in moving temporarily from Spring until Fall, leave before winter. What are the rental options like for temporary housing besides Airbnb?
Unfortunately that'll be a bit tough. With the summer being our busy tourist season (which has been crazy the past few years) most short term rental options are catering to the tourists. More money when you can rent nightly vs monthly. And most rental mgmt companies are looking for a year lease. So it's gonna be tough. But asking around and calling different places might help you find what you are looking for. 🤷♂️
