I’m new here and came from Amy R’s lives from yesterday and today. She raves about you, and I can see why!! These cards are stUNning!!! I love the stitched one the best, but they’re both so beautiful! Thank you for all the tips and tricks you provide along the way!!
Omg, I am not a stitcher but the stitched card is absolutely gorgeous. I think I need to rethink stitching. It looks easy. I also love your press n seal hack. I use it but never thought to use it that way.🤦♀️ Thanks for all the great tips. 😊
NOT to stitch. I think it’s pretty but I’m vision impaired. I struggle with small dies and other aspects of crafting so I’m not going to inflict stitching on myself. Love that you show the alternative method. I don’t own that die set and won’t buy it but I have other Spellbinders die sets that are similar in size so can use that style for my own cards. Thanks for the video and the versatility within.
Glad you liked it! Vision problems are the worst. I’ve been near sighted my whole life and now that I’m at “a certain age”, I can tell my close up vision is going as well. I’m determined to do all the tedious things until it becomes to much bother. LOL
@@dawnwoleslagle9561 It is possible to purchase magnifiers on stands. That doesn’t really help with longsightedness, which is what tends to happen with age, but a good pair of reading glasses perhaps coupled with a magnifier could fix it. I am, of course, assuming that your vision problems are within the “normal” range. If your vision problems are not within the “normal” range, I can put you in touch with people who help, who provide vision aids etc. Speaking as someone whose first school was “for the visually handicapped” and who now has a seeing eye dog currently leaning on me while I squint at my ipad, I have connections. I’m guessing your vision isn’t that bad though.
I noticed that you have a couple bumps in your glimmer platform in the center. I can't go look at mine right now to see if it's the same thing, but I had those in mine and they were the screws in the bottom of the platform that hold it together starting to try to poke through. Unfortunately, for me, I did not notice this, until I happened to place a hot foil plate on one of those bumps just right and it ripped the silicone on the platform. I say this as a warning to you, if you back those screws out a little now (if this is the case for you) you won't end up accidentally ripping the silicone on your platform, like I did. Also, these cards are absolutely gorgeous. ❤
Wonderful video. Thank you for all the great ideas. I am presently stitching this very same die and the tips for the glue dots and the Press and seal is brilliant. If you only knew how many times I tossed the die because my washi tape moved and the holes in the poinsettia were so crooked! I will certainly try the press and seal for the other things I have to die cut. Thank you so much!
I can hand embroider on fabric so I’m unlikely to spend the time on paper. Also I actually like the unstitched version with the embossing powder better because it looks like you see more of the gold. More fold is always better right?
My favorite is the one with the stitching,. Both are lovely. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful cards!
Stitch, of course!! This does not have much stitching and the results are worth adding it to the card! NICE JOB!
STITCH! However both are beautiful cards! Thanks for all the tips and It's a joy and a learning experience watching you create!❤

Both are beautiful....though the stitching is a bonus not in my wheel house....to hard on my hands.
Totally get that! Hand issues can be so hard. ❤

Thought it said "to snitch or not to snitch?" because half of my sub page is true crime and body cam footage right now
