MAP sensor fault - astra h pedal test

Vehicle is a astra h 2004 1.7 cdti z17dtl.
I will be doing a video on how to remove and clean/ replace the MAP sensor soon.

After doing pedal test and fixing the problem (no spanner or engine management light) done pedal test again.The display stayed on milage. Is this normal?

Hi. If after fixing the problem and redoing the pedal test; if it has stayed on the mileage that means you have fixed your fault and no fault is logged on the ecu.

that is a great hack. never knew about that. im having issues with my astra z18xe stalling and rev needdle bouncing at idle. Will the same work on petrol engine ? Dean

If it’s an Astra h, then yes the pedal test will work.
