I love you man! You're putting so much ethics in people's mind. Back then people would just buy Lakme without thinking about inclusivity and all. Just recently I was at the color bar counter and a Tamil aunty was searching for a compact powder at Lakme counter, it was so sad to see her struggle for her shade and counter girl trying to sell her lighter shade. YT and creators like you have changed people's mind. I don't support any brand in their base products who are not inclusive enough. For me now ethics/inclusivity come first and then the quality. Thanks for what you're doing 😘

Actually Jovita had called Nykaa out too on their face product ranges, in a few videos before this, if I'm not mistaken. Lakme gets the most flak since it's been around for quite a while and should have had the sense and sight to go beyond fair to medium complexions in their face product ranges, especially new launches.

Lakme has the reach to do that, but if you see their latest launch Collab with Kareena Kapoor, even those products do not cater to medium skin and more. But again, Nykaa if it doesn't change, I am sure the youtubers won't keep promoting it.

Jovita, I dont think it's ideal to compare a drugstore brand w that of a highend one. There are brands highend that have poorer shade range than even lakme but this is where I think Lakme should learn from - LA girl, NYX, Maybelline Fit Me all have shades so inclusive. Lakme is Indian and widely trusted here and they should value the trust of their customers. Gone are those days where fair was beautiful. There won't be tanners and bronzers if that was the case. Every skintone, the palest or the warmest is beautiful. Love you for your honesty, Jovita. Much love!
But many foreign drugstore brands like revolution makeup and colorpop has taken notes from high end counterparts and have increased the shade range a lot so it now time lakme do it too

This looks soooo good on your skin Jovita!. Initially when you were applying the foundation it looked quite yellow as you mentioned, but then by the time you applied concealer, it set soo well and looked natural! 👌Impressive.

Hello! Thought I would try and help. BUT please know that I have not tried buying foundations online, even using this technique. On the Sephora Malaysia website (you don't have to sign in or be in Malaysia to browse their products), select Makeup > Foundation > Scroll and find the Born This Way foundation. When you click on the product the product page opens with all the shades displayed. There should be a "Shade Finder" just above the little coloured boxes. Click that and a small window opens. You'll need to know your shade in some other foundation. Just input the information and it will automatically tell you what shade you could/should be. Hope this helps!
Or check out Findation.com, It does the same thing. You have to enter the names of the foundations you currently use or have used (that match you) and their shades. Then, the website searches the shades for you among all the different brands.

Loved this foundation so much and it lasted on me too when I did the wear test on my channel. No patchiness No cakeyness. Just wish Too Faced weren't owned by EL. had to give it away! But it still remains the best foundation I have tried. not to forget the shade range and ingredients 👍🏼
