Lip read Harimoto saying "congrats" to Liang Jingkun in Chinese as they shook hands. Felt his pain, but great sportsmanship after an absolutely outrageous fight!
An extraordinary match, breathlessly tense from beginning to end. Always seemed like Harimoto had to do something superhuman to win a game, and that could only last so long. Match of the year so far.
Glad to see Harimoto throwing more forehands in. Game 5 he pooped the bed on those two last shots. But I do believe he has all the potential to be the best in the world at some point. It’s only when he plays fearlessly.
@@Titteeeee Don´t forget how super hard it is to beat the chinese top-players! China has like 20 super strong players, and only the best of the best compete in the tournaments. So they are always in best shape, otherwise another chinese player would be there. All other nations have their national team competing in the big tournaments, so they also have a "bad year" from time to time.
@@Titteeeee Dude, people generally peak in TT when they reach 22-23 and it takes around a decade of being pro before they peak. It was the same thing with Ma Long, FZD, and Zhang Jike, they all started early at a young age and reached high levels but took them a long time (from 7 to 10 years) before they finally peaked. Harimoto is still a kid who just turned 20.
Hats off to both players! Every single game was sooo close and fiercely fought over it could easily have gone the other way! Best match of the tournament by a country mile!🔥🔥🔥
This game Was INSANE! It constantly kept me on edge. Every Set was sooo close. The speed and Power were unmatched. Haven't seen this in a very long time! Harimoto will win next time❤
These guys should make millions, not soccer players or base ball players. Fastest sport in the world, mentally, technically, and fysically the hardest sport. What a match this was!!!
First of all some of the players do. Second, neither table tennis nor football players are paid because their jobs are important, but because people are watching them. More people pay a lot of money to watch football (and probably baseball) so they make more money.
In my mind, this match is the highlight of the Durban World Table Tennis Championships, even beyond the final. WangChuqin was simply vulnerable to FanZhendong, especially in the last two rounds, but Liang Jingkun and Harimoto were like two warriors in the arena, only the attack did not defend, and the fight was over until one man fell (and they did fall on the ground after the match🤣)
The ceiling camera was surprisingly a very good camera angle 😮 I can see clearly where the ball is hitting on the table. With the camera that was from the side of the table it was hard to see that
it's funny to see Liang Jingkun often lost against some minor opponents but won those who are deemed to be tougher ones for top players such like harimoto, lin yun ju, wang chuqin, etc., and sometimes he would easily lost some decisive points and crashed out of a game.

Great handshake, superb sportsmanship from Harimoto as always!

@stuxnet750 no, I think he isn't actually, I was though a little bit
Great match and coverage. No commentary is so good!

Yeah… this match was self explanatory AND finally with a “decent” angle
