They probably target 4 clans, not guests. Guests are afterthought (which would be their downfall).
No way they can kill anyone even in plan. Duke not very strong, as his charges, and he will try to attack Penaconia, where there will be a delegation from the hall of oblivion, a delegation from the ICP, the Star Express and the Galaxy Rangers.
This company of optimists initially didn’t have a chance.

@callummoran6497 Yeah, they are Harmony and Nihility, but only for gameplay reasons. But in the lore, they are respectively representatives of Masked fouls (Elation) and the Garden of Recollection (Remembrance)

They’re also kinda themed up, so I’d guess it’s more robin than Sunday: musician vs singer, puppet master vs street performer, violent thug vs businessman. Not sure what role to assign to Constance and black swan, apart from being probably the two most powerful of the respective sides

Sooo, Now we have faces for the Annihilation Gang. That makes 3 antagonist groups, Stellaron Hunters, The Annihilation Gang and the still unnamed group of Loucha and Jingliu. That's a lot of enemies to fight with.
The Stellaron Hunters are more like anti-heroes then antagonists.
Idk about Jing Liu and Luocha, but you forgot about Antimatter Legion.

To recap, The Family (followers of Xipe, The Harmony) sent invitations for a special celebration at Penacony (as it was annouced at the end of the 1.6 livestream).
We've seen the list of people who will attend this celebration (again, end of the 1.6 livestream).
Duke Inferno, Ifrit, is planning to cause Destruction during the celebration at Penacony. Thus the Children of the Flame were introduced, each one has their own targets.
Akash "The Tuner", with the followers of the Harmony as his audience.
Dubra "The Scribe", with the Masked Fools (follower of Aha the Elation) at the tip of her blade.
Caterina "The Shacklebound", with her sights set towards the followers of the Preservation (since Adveturine's there, her target's most likely the IPC).
And Duke's Exceptional Child, Constance "The Dahlia", with the followers of the Remembrance as her target (most likely Black Swan).
And most likely, we'll run into a Stellaron Hunter, Sam.
Like hell, they could even touch Black Swan 😏

Tbf they all are dead no matter what, black swan is an emanator of remembrance, sparkle is a masked fool and that speaks for itself, aventurine has the entire IPCs backing plus topaz will be there with him and attacking a member of the family while in penacony is literal suicide, that's not counting dr ratio, Sam, the express, Acheron and whoever else will be there that will most definitely try to stop them, these 4 are 100% screwed

After a bit of research I have learned that for en voices, (other than Jennifer) overlaps with Genshin are Dubra, Millie also voices Keqing. But also Akash, Talon Warburton, has played a role of Moseis (The "antagonist" from the first Nahida story quest)

People who say this show they never played previous Honkai games. Those are definitely not Honkai type villains. Even the most evil villains from HI3 were very conflicted characters.

When they're taking about the aeons, I think they meant about the visitors to Penacony that represents the aeons. Like for the preservation, it's about the IPC so maybe about aventurine?
I mean like,
remembrance > black swan
elation > sparle
harmony > the family of penacony
Persevation could be the stonehearts then, like Topaz and Aventurine.

This is a parallel of Fatui Harbinger in genshin and Constance gives me Albedo vibe from Overlord anime. Can't wait to meet all of them in penacony
Cant wait, i doubt all will be playable. But some probably are. Im leaning more on bosses, like Signora was in Genshin.
Important thing to note Duke lists them off to take out certain paths. We know there will be big conflict in Penacony.

Akash vs Harmony
Catarina vs Preservation
Constance vs Remembrance
From that we can assume we will see them when the respective Penacony guest invite of that path gets introduced in story.
So we might see Constance and Dubra first because we know Black Swan and Sparkle are the Rememberance and Elation invites and are the next banners.

The way Constance is portrayed and the character she already is and the fact that she shares the same irl name as me, I think I’ll have to warp for her instead of Sparkle.
Per Rubee, Constance is the "Lady Di" from RE8 for Star Rail. As an aside: In Japan White is the color of "Death".

I think they're going to throw hands with the faction representatives of the paths. Hanabi, Aventurine, Black Swan... they're going to rip down the paths they follow by going after them on Penacony during the event.

The Height, the Hair Length, the Shape of the Face and Facial Features and even the uh.... *AHEM* Body build all give off Evil Navia Vibes for me.
As for who may die, I'd say it might be Argenti given how he basically "Shrimps" for any Lady that even remotely looks to be in trouble. Don't go for the Level 5 Ascension for the Guys and Gals of Star Rail (unless you want to wet the bed in the Midst of a Dream) with the Exception of Lynx and the Kids obviously because well..... MiHoyo knows what they're doing!

Haven't seen such an epic introduction video to a villainous faction since A Winter Night's Lazzo from Genshin Impact.

Pretty crazy plot drop here. Annihilation Gang under the path of Destruction is basically declaring war vs every single faction that was invited and will be present at Penacony.
Duke Inferno assigns each of the members of the gang to face off with each faction.
Faction 1 assigned to Dubra: Elation -> Sparkle (Masked Fools)
Faction 2 assigned to Akash: Harmony -> Sunday + Robin (The Family) (Akash looks like he fits in parties hosted by Sunday as a musician)
Faction 3 assigned to Caterina: Preservation -> Aventurine (IPC) (bank vaults)
Faction 4 assigned to Constance: Remembrance -> Black Swan (can see the burning flower in Duke Inferno's hand)
Outside factors that can influence the fight are - The Stellaron Hunters (Sam), The Astral Express, Acheron, Dr. Ratio (Intelligentsia Guild or Erudition followers)
Surely there are no deaths in this arc right? (Hunt and Abundance busy with their own conflict)
All this hype, then they get off screened by acheron.😂

I'm not sure if it's leaked or something but just from the visuals and personalities this is what I think their specialty will be as characters:
Akash - Harmony or Nihility
Dubra - Abundance or Destruction
Caterina - Destruction or Erudition
Constance - Hunt, Erudition or Nihility
Well, in the end, they might be all destruction characters with special gimmicks but I hope they have other paths!

I think each of the characters has a hit.
Constance was told to leave the Rememberance’s tomb obviously referring to Black Swan.
Dubra was set to destroy the Elation so is going after Sparkle
Akash was told to destroy Harmony so is going for the family, Sunday, or Robin
Caterina was told to melt gold of preservation (obviously referring to the IPC), Aventurine is a part of the IPC and as stated before so she’s going after him.
Considering their 'supposed' targets:
Akash: Harmony
Dubra: Elation
Caterina: Preservation
Constance: Remembrance
Either it's talking about the characters they are commanded to kill:
Robin, Hanabi, Aventurine, Black Swan
Or the 'planets' they are about to attack (similar to each region has a Fatui to be in-charge of: Penacony, ?, Belobog, Memory of Recollection (?)
OR it's also coincidentally the next 4 new characters coming out?
We already know Black Swan and Hanabi is in 2.0 so maybe Aventurine and Robin(?) will be the next 2?

I agree with Mina that Kafka is definitely the character with the biggest death flags, but I also don't see them killing her off this early. That feels more like a second act thing. Himiko's death in HI3 had to happen in Act 1 because it's what kickstarts Kiana's story in earnest, but the Trailblazer has already started their's.
I"m also certain that Kafka is going to discover "the value of life" moments before she sacrifice her life to save ours in some form or fashion.

Duke inferno is imaginary destruction(with the golden flame burning the goat scene with imaginary element burning it) Akash is ice harmony(eyeball scene that shatter ice and falls into water) Ghostgirl is erudition(apple scene surrounded by quantum purple element but he says elation tho so I'm not sure) Caterina is preservation(mental safe melting scene so physical which is cool cause she might be the first physical preservation) Constance is nihility (burning rose so fire but he mentions stripping away slowly)
Mind you I'm not saying it's accurate but going off of what he says in the trailer and ecos when he mentions each character it felt like they were teasing it with visuals as well

I loved the Luofu arc but damn I appreciate that Mihoyo allowed us to leave it sometimes ^^ one time for Belobog and the other for Herta's space station. I also appreciate that 1.6 was without Luofu too. It is also obvious we are not done with the Luofu arc since there is still the Jingliu trial and the plan Luocha made with her to beat the Abundance ^^ We still have to meet the Ten Lords Commission and the other Xianghzou generals.
2.0 will be great I love it and cant wait for it to go live ^^ hopefully there will be a lots of content :) but the characters they showed us already are all great design :) my favorites are obviously Acheron and Constance.

By preservation they prolly mean the garden of memories or something which blackswan recides and penacony is harmony. The story from the livestream and all probably is that penacony is controlled by five families and one of the families young master name Sunday came to invite all to their grand celebration and Duke Inferno is probably one of the families and these are the people he raised. He probably wants full control over penacony and is creating his master plan with these guys. But I could be wrong.
its already been said in the 1.6 livestream that the family is just inviting pretty much all factions to penacony including the annihilation gang. the garden of recollection is remembrance not preservation

Supreme guardian is belong to preservation too
But yeah even if what he talking about is supreme guardian instead IpC it will not be belebog but another place
