I've said it before and I'm saying it again. You have one of the best, if not the best, hunting videos on YT. You don't put in all that "filler" video showing you driving to your destination, eating breakfast, and other non-hunting garbage. Your videos go straight to the important stuff....showing your spread and starting the hunt. Great videos.
@keithbryantjr.3020 we'll do smaller ones. I'm hunting with Thomas in South Dakota next month. Just hard to get us all together with different schedules.
Great show, and great hunt Matt! Love how you include video of scenery, birds not targeted, and other things that all compose what we enjoy about our waterfowling life, emphasizing that its about being out there too, not just about the shooting alone. Barry
Great work! Envious of your pre-sunrise shooting, we can't in MN here and that's usually when you'll have some teal jump into the spread and all you can do is give them a tip of the hat "hello"
@@eduffy4937 I look forward to when my daughter is old enough to do youth waterfowl season since MN is the weekend before WI so we could go back to back weekends.
Ouah! What a good buy for the new duck boat, so steady! Thanks for telling and showing All details of your decoying too, fantastic footage of all the cameras! I am passing some orders in Salt Creek reloading ammo for my 20 ga Uplander Remington 870 in TSS18 with the skeet choke over a very similar set of teals, black ducks and coots! I love all your solo hunts and I am very impressed with your retrieving abilities, Tendra Will be impressed! Thanks again for sharing, Saint Hubert is really on your side but you are the one making it work!
I just found your channel and I like it. I especially love my 28's. I have 3 of them and have shot 28's at everything for years. I saw you were hunting in Wyoming with a mutual friend. Christian Buxton, he and I both live in Douglas. A fellow 28'er. Great guy. I would love to hunt with you someday if you come back to Wyoming.
I hunt pretty similar terrain as you and also don’t have a dog, and I started bringing an uncharted co. rapid raft for those retrieves that are deeper than the waders. It works great when you need it and only weighs about 3 lbs
Matt - From the teal I can see in your bag, most are adult males. This phenomenon is a conserquence of adult males migrating ahead of females because their nesting, brood rearing, and molting delays their early migration. Rick Kaminski
@@nsmerilli1 the guy I purchased from already had the mount on it. I don’t have any close up pictures of it. It was basically a bent 90 degree piece of steel with a 2x6 bolted to it for the transom and it used U bolts around the back handle to secure it to the boat. If that makes sense.
@austinhopper6158 small sample size but I love it. Have yet to find a pellet in a bird. Really excited to see how it performs on big ducks and geese. It's 3/4 oz.

The only duck channel that isn’t cringe on TH-cam. Love the cleanly executed solo hunts!
Appreciate that!
Great morning & fall is coming! Always enjoy your hunts, Matt.
Appreciate it!
Another great video Matt. Got to love teal 🦆
Thanks!
That new boat is sweet! Nice work man!
Thanks buddy!
Appreciate your videos and like your new boat
Thanks!
I used my Benelli SBE3 28 ga with 3 inchers last November in Texas on cranes with great success. BOSS 3" number 4's.
They do the trick!

I was out in mn with my boys for youth opener this morning and definitely can shoot 30mins before sunrise.

@@HighPrairieSportsmen You are always Welcome !
Great teal hunt Matt…
Thanks!
Nice boat you got there.
It sure is!
I love hunting out of my beavertail 2000. Very stable and lots of room.
Definitely. Super stable
Awesome hunt
Thanks!
Awesome hunt. My season starts mid Oct. You almost took out the pulsator with the last teal, would be expensive replacement lol.
Haha sacrifices will be made
Back in the day we called that a Layount boat or a sneakboat. Absolute killer on ducks!
It works great!
Well, the Huskers are up 28 - 0 at half, and Matt puts out a video. I am having a good day.

Those are some big real!
That's what I was thinking too
Still no dog yet bud nice hunt nice to see you again.
Thanks!
Atta way buddy!

I loved my stealth 2000, but I hated paddling it. Was very nice when I put a trolling motor on it. Wish I would have kept it.
Did you use the layout blind with the motor mount? I can’t seem to use the motor mount and have the layout blind stay on on that side.
@@nsmerilli1 I did use the layout blind however I had a custom transom mount for the trolling motor.
@@dhoutdoors4286 did you make the mount for it? Would love to see pictures

It's a sweet boat
do you feel the coots help with mallards? people tell me theyll scare them off.
I've decoyed mallards into my coot rafts. Never heard they scare mallards
Great video why is the load so heavy for teal ,
Thanks! Smallest size available
Tough to beat a good teal shoot. Do you ever get any cinnamon teal in your flyway?
We do but they're almost indistinguishable from bluewinga during the fall when they migrate through.
What do you think of the tss so far? Is it 7/8oz?
