I am at beginner level in research and this video helps me understand the process in the best way possible. Thank you so much and keep up the good work.
sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost the password. I would love any tricks you can give me
@Marvin Nova i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Thank you, sir. It was so helpful as usual. I have a question. Are all misfolded proteins destined for degradation or are there some helpers that protect misfolded proteins until they are ready to get folded properly?
There are first helper proteins called chaperones ( Hsp 70 , Hsp 60 ) which help misfolded proteins to fold correctly , still if misfolded proteins are not capable of folding properly or their functions are lost then they are directed to degradation.
Why you did not mentioned about the parts of proteosome like Ubiquitin receptors - Rpn-13 and Rpn-10, DUB- De-ubiquitination enzyme, and Rpt-1 to Rpt-6 (ATPase subunit). Examples of Ubiquitin ligase enzyme like SCF- (Skp 1, cullin, and F-box protein) and APC/C - Anaphase Promoting Complex or Cyclosome which degrades cyclins in cell cycle.
Yes for 26 Protesome to work , it needs at least 4 Ubiquitins to degrade the Protein effectively. In diagram i have shown only 3 Ubiquitins which is a mistake.

Can ubiquitination be done at cysteine residues in a protein backbone?
I have a doubt how many types of proteasom are there in human cells?
Why you did not mentioned about the parts of proteosome like Ubiquitin receptors - Rpn-13 and Rpn-10, DUB- De-ubiquitination enzyme, and Rpt-1 to Rpt-6 (ATPase subunit). Ub4 is the shortest chain that binds to the cap of the proteasome. Not Ub3.

excuse me , i want to ask a question. the numbers of ub need three or four? cuz i remember it need at least four ub.
