Keep fighting. I was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer this past August. I went through chemo/radiation, which didn't work for me, and I'm now terminal. So sorry to hear but glad to know you're staying strong and positive, please remain like that as much as you can, enjoy life as much as possible and spend time with your loved ones. I still have a lymph node left, so still fighting but hanging in there since I still think I have much to do. Also trying to stay positive and enjoy myself as much as I can with the people I love :) Hugs and the best vibes for you :D
I have Esophageal cancer going in today for the first chemo treatment. I am a 60 yr old man, I'm also an atheist. I trust in Science and the medical people treating me. Thanks for sharing.
I've just found your channel and just really need to tell you your not alone, your such a strong, courageous, beautiful woman. I pray to God that your doing well just now, may god watch over you and give you comfort, take care of yourself, lots of love💟💗💖☀️🌞
You are just the sweetest little lovely person I have seen in a long time! You have great courage...you are so kind to reach out to others....you are a total inspiration. I follow another blog of a cancer victim. His name is Nabeel Quireshi. He is a Doctor, turned his life over to God, and became a preacher. He is about the same age as you are. He is dealing with his stomach cancer with the help of his Bible. Wow, he is so brave, his faith is just amazing and I think he will inspire you greatly. He was given 9 months to live about a year ago!! He could well be a blessing to you too!! I will pray for you sweet one. Hang in there.....God loves you!
God bless you!! You are very brave by speaking on this. I truly admire your strength and pray that our father in heaven will heal you and give you more strength.
Keep your head up Diana. I was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer 5 1/2 months ago. For 2 months I couldn't swallow anything and got all of my food through a feeding tube. I lost over 40 pounds. I have been eating all of my food by mouth for the last 3 1/2 months and have put over 30 pounds back on just eating normally. I was only given a 10 to 20% chance of beating this but that 10% is Winning right now. Keep your head up and stay Positive my love. I hope we both get to tell the world "I Beat Cancer!" I have a CT Scan Tomorrow and see the Oncologist on Wednesday.
You seem like such a special person Diana......you don't deserve to have this cruel disease. Stay strong and you will beat this! Sending you lots of love from the UK xx
You are young brave girl whose taking the time to share your story. Thank you for the courage you have Shown me here today I appreciate it very much may God be with you and bless you and your sister.
Stay strong hun, don't give in to this disease. I'm sorry you lost your mom and you're going through this terrible disease. I will pray for you. God Bless you in your battle with this demon.
Diana keep praying God will see you through. I have Esophageal and now my doctor ordering tests. You need your family but not the mass. Everyone have family mass but just let them know how you and your sister feel. Praying for your family to reunite.

I'm 37 years old and was diagnosed with esophageal cancer cancer in January (localized with 1 lymph node). It came out of nowhere for me. Didn't know I had Barrett's until the tumor was blocking swallowing. I start my treatments in 1 & 1/2 weeks, radiation simulation in 2 days & chemo port next Monday. Chemo once a week, radiation 5 days a week for 6 weeks. I was afraid I was also Stage 3b because they found a lymph cell in my aorta on my initial CT Scan, but it wasn't cancer based on the P.E.T. scan. I wished I could understand your follow-up videos better but my Spanish has degraded severely from lack of use. I can't imagine being so far away from all of your family. I hope things have gotten better for you.
Hello Diana, I have had the same as you in 2009, they removed my oesophagus, but I am still going, take care in what you eat and the effects it might have on your stomach. you will have good days and bad days but your future is good trust me.
Diana, you are young and beautiful. miracles do happen. I am very hopeful that you will defeat the cancer and live for many decades like a normal healthy person. stay positive and strong.
Diana thank you for your courage to do this vlog. My son Mark 34 was just diagnosed with this and I know he may not want to follow you but I will so I will be keeping up with you. Stay strong and trust in God
I was diagnosed stage 4 esophageal cancer August of 2017, age 38, inoperable, severe lymph node metastasis and possible small liver metastasis. I was put on an aggressive chemotherapy and immunotherapy trial. As of April 2018 and through November 2018 I am as close to cancer free as one can hope for. Keep your faith and trust in the Lord.
Thank you so much for sharing! I hope you will recover and become cancer free soon!! Stay brave and positive and keep on fighting!! I found your video searching for symptoms of esophageal cancer - How it felt from the initial symptoms began when feeling something is off, progressing to a diagnosis. I am currently experiencing some discomfort when swallowing among others. I am referred to a cardiologist, but more and more i feel it is not a heart problem but some kind of problem in the (left?) upper abdominal area or lower throat. Hi Diana, my name is Emma, I am 40 years old and I've got Esophageal Cancer with bones (spine metastases) Stage 4. I've just discovered this one month ago. I am from Romania and I live in UK since 2015. I came here to start a new life and......... I was very impressed when I saw your video, It was like I was looking in a mirror. If you want to speak with me I will be very happy. Keep going!
Stay strong, you're not alone. I recently found out I have esophageal cancer. Just did my Pet Scan & have my appointment this friday. 12/20/2016. I'm worried about chemo, but one day at a time right. Todo a su tiempo.
I just ran in to your video. My heart and prayers go to you from Los Angeles, California. I hope you are doing better after posting this video. After having lost my dad to cancer not to long ago, i noticed that I went thru some years of depression, which may have contributed to some un-diagnosed mistery condition I am still dealing with. While doing research, I encountered this video. I am just trying to understand if there might be a connection between depression after a loved one dies, and the weakening of our own immune system, making us more susceptible to various conditions. I know I have some chronic acid reflex, esophagitis, gastritis, and a long list of other symtoms. I was also diagnosed with H-Pylori, a bacteria that is very common among Koreans, although it is mostly asymptomatic in most Koreans. I love Korean food, and suspect this may be the method of contracting the troublesome bacteria. Anyway, forgive my rants, and please accept my sincerest Best Wishes to you. Que te sientas mejor!
Diana We never die ! just the body like an old car ! just remember not all models are sports cars. I live with 2 types of cancer, NHL indolent - slow growing . But I LIVE Much love to YOU.
I totally understand how your feeling sweetheart but be strong a good mindset will help along with a good diet. I have oesophageal cancer and because I have heart, lung and liver disease they won’t operate or give me chemotherapy. Basically I’m on my own. Your body is an amazing machine we can beat this my lovely. Feel free to message me anytime day or night if you wish too. Good luck you can do this. x
Hi my name Is John I'm 58 an I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer on 08/08/2016,I just finished 5 weeks of chemo an radiation an on they want to do a Esophagectomy in two weeks.I hope you an your sister can an will get threw this. Good luck an thanks for sharing your story.
john barta Best of luck John. I was diagnosed with it last August. I'm not a candidate for surgery, and chemo/radiation failed. I'm now terminal. I'll keep you in my prayers
I am praying for y’all to be healed from esophageal cancer. I was diagnose with stage IV last year trust God know matter what and stay around positive people. Eat plenty of vegetables and fruit. Or try juicing.
I was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer (T3, N2) , adenocarcinoma in August. 2 tumors in my esophagus and spread to several lymph nodes. By my guess and looking back at a lot of symptoms that I overlooked, I have probably had it for well over 2 years. Although by the grace of God it has not spread to any other organs, it was too widespread to even consider surgery, and radiation is still questionable. I am on a cocktail of chemo and immunotherapy, and so far have responded well overall...4 treatments showed a reduction overall of 30% or more in the total mass of cancer. I did make drastic changes to my diet, and began exercising on a regular basis as soon as fatigue after chemo wears off. I do long distance running one day and alternate with muscle training at the gym. I will say that the side effects from chemo so far are worse than the cancer itself ever was, but I am showing a decent response to treatment. Coming up on treatment #8 my platelet counts are getting low and we may have to pause treatment for a while to recoup. More scans just before New year's. I think one of the most important things through a situation like this is to find your inner peace and peace with God more importantly. The worst thing to do is sit at home moping around pondering your death. It is important to get out and enjoy life if you are able, and spend as much time as possible with those near and dear to you. Doctors even at the best hospitals love lump everyone into groups, categories, and statistics...forget all that garbage and enjoy life. :-)
Commenting from my son's channel.. but had severe esophagitis and barrots esophagus along w pre cancer polyps in my esophagus in 2014. Had the Nissan procedure. Couldn't eat for a month. Was miserable but today I'm better. This can turn to cancer.
hi im mark im going tomorrow for the endoscopy having trouble to swallow , watching your video has gave me strength i hope well all can keep intouch and share our storys , lots of love and a big hug your a brave girl
Diana Verdín I m 62 and just went through two endoscopies for suspected Barrett's esophagus. Pathological reports tell there is no Barrett for the time being though GERD has caused some damage to the tissue. However, the fear of developing this deadly disease haunts me every day. Ur spirited fight against this disease gives me courage and hope that I wd recover and fight back the symptoms easily. I pray u recover early from this disease and enjoy a healthy life thereafter.
omgg dianita... no habia encontrado este video.. me siento impotente.. y no seeee... mall..xk ya no estas con nosotros.. buen viaje donde quiera que estes... i feel so sad about this, because you was a wonderful person.. you and your sister.. i know you stay in the sky.. with your mom.. i will going to miss youuu :(

third time i listen her story i read below in comments she is dead and im extremely sorry and i hope she lives and watches us from paradise i hope I'm here because for a reason of course my dad was diagnosed four months ago from the same esofageal cancer four stage he has consumed three phases of chemotherapy and I'm confused for the next steps i will appreciate a lot if some body could help me to understand next steps doc's said that there's no more chemo to consume wish all the peoples here the very best's
hey, I'm really shocked that you say there's nothing that can be done. Can you get a second opinion?? My mum had stage 4 cancer of the esophogus, tongue, throat, tonsil and lymph node. She had three rounds of 100% and six weeks of radiotherapy. she's is cancer free now. please please please go home to mexico and get a second opinion. cancer from the neck up is the actually the easiest to treat. thats what we were told. my mum had 80% chance of survival. Please get a second opinion.
The esophagus is actually under the neck, not quite above. You might wanna watch my last video for an update. No need to go to Mexico, plus, I don't even have an insurance there, so there'd be no point in going there, but thanks for the advice.
Don't give up keep fighting , I beat it in 2016 had a 12 hr operation I was working up and down the ward 7hrs later and I'm still here tormenting every one lol ,I know how you feel, its very scary, but you will be fine.

edwin merida i understand everything youre going through. Sweetheart God wants you to Trust him...i trusted him with my life and im here testifying you the miracle he did on me. Dont be afraid..hes with you..i had Leukemia twice and im alive. Leukemia is blood cancer and is almost impossible to cure..but not for Our Father God. There's nothing impossible for him.. Follow Jesus and Worship him at a Christian Church..get Baptized. I believe God wants you in the future to help others that are struggling with cancer also. Put all your trust on Jesus. Read the Bible on Psalms 91:1-16 and Isaiah 53:4,5 and Jeremiah 33:3...his promises are real. Trust in him. Go to a Christian Church ASAP and pray ok. God bless you.
Love Jesus I already found one and have started going did you go through chemo and radiation? I have started reading the Bible and started going through an awesome church called freedom here in Los Angeles /Santa fe area I will read those verses today

Don't apologize for how you look; you look just great. The main thing is to keep your nutrition and hydration up. Chemo and radiation will drag you down, but if you eat a healthy diet and get the rest you need, it will be easier. Stage IIIB can be successfully treated. Also, try to stay positive. Even though I'm dying, I still keep a positive attitude and do a lot of living.

john barta Best of luck John. I was diagnosed with it last August. I'm not a candidate for surgery, and chemo/radiation failed. I'm now terminal. I'll keep you in my prayers
may i ask what were your symptoms ?
Mt thoughts are with you, My husband is on his third day of radiotherapy god bless you
I am praying for y’all to be healed from esophageal cancer. I was diagnose with stage IV last year trust God know matter what and stay around positive people. Eat plenty of vegetables and fruit. Or try juicing.
She was crying 😔😔😔 I feel so mad ..QEPD ..don't be sorry you are a beautiful soul whatever you are ..
Billy Gensmer do a juice detox - joe cross on you tube and a diet similar to mine
what were your symptoms?
Prayers sweetheart!

Rest in peace my darling!

My soul, how depressing.
Poor child.
Te extraño mucho diana
R.I.P. God Bless you sister. :'/
hey, I'm really shocked that you say there's nothing that can be done.
No need to go to Mexico, plus, I don't even have an insurance there, so there'd be no point in going there, but thanks for the advice.
ok I will watch. I hope you are ok x
Surviving Borderline Vlogs She dead recently, so so sad. She is adorable. 😢

No, I won't and you CANNOT tell someone that if you don't know either, it's silly and irresponsible.

Did you get diagnosed with Barrett's esophagus first? And did you try getting the ablation first? The dr told me I should try the ablation first.
My dad was diagnosed with this type of cancer. Unfortunately I didn’t know he had Barrett disease which is a precursor to this type of cancer
How are you doing now? Do you have squamous cell carcinoma or adenocarcinoma? My father is suffering from esophageal ADENOCARCINOMA. Please share your current status

Read the Bible on Psalms 91:1-16 and Isaiah 53:4,5
