- The Arctic P12 PWM PST fan has been named the top budget 120mm fan. Arctic has now upgraded the design by adding RGB lighting, creating the new Arctic P12 ARGB 0dB. They claim that this new version of the P12 is the best budget 120mm RGB fan available. Let's take a closer look on how to install the P12 even more.

You dont need the controller in order for RGB to work. Just connect them together make sure your ARGB is installed the correct way (arrow with DC12) and letters corresponding on board and fan connector. Just tested it and it works. Have yet to see if my MOBO has RGB controls.
So you can use rgb on all fans basically if you have an ARGB header on the motherboard and you plug the final fan into it?
@@KarltonFranzthat's what it looks like, if your mobo has one of those light controllers that shows in the fan box, it's just plug and play. I just got the Artic 360 AIO rgb plus 4 fans ( 1 - 140 and 2 - 120). So I'll have total of 7 fans working on my new build.
bought these and wasn't sure which plug was the rgb and which was for the fan, your video helped me figure it out, thanks!
Its confusing with the different wires coming out of it lol
Very nice explanation, straight to the point. Thank you and keep up the good work.
8 minutes can be narrowed to 2 easily 😅
Maybe im dumb buď i dont see were you plug RGB connector
yep.. i'm looking for that too and he never mention/show where it should go.. my board only have 12v rgb headers though..
@@glyphgraph8436Did you solve it? I have the same question, in the video I understood that we have to connect the 4 pin receptor in the motherboard and interconnect the 3 pin between the 3 fans but I don't know if that's dangerous because the difference of voltage between RGB and A-RGB
@@fidelabando7409 connect it to a argb controller
thank you brother i didnt know you connected them via 4 pin
Very good explanation man too many connection head it scared the s**t out of me 🗿
Thanks alot
Thanks i was so confused how do i wire cables because i need put fans down on my radiator because case was small :3
Hi bro. How was your temp? I am deciding between Corsair and arctic fan now. Using Arctic aio freezer 360 thro.
Around 50/55 MAX with the arctic fans
Is it possible to connect in series the backlight on all the fans and into one hub connector? or will it burn?
Thank You!
Does your mainboard dont have a argb header ? You can daysy chain all 3 to a argb header on mainboard
Not in one header no you would have to do 3
@@noobtechnologiessorry, but both power and RGB is daisy-chainable, at least as of 2024.
how did you connect 3pin rgb fan to 4pin connector on motherboard?
Do you need a RGB Hub?
do you have an answer by now?
Great vid :)
Thank you
Bro chill take a step back from the mic 😂
Thanks
If you have one A-RGB header on the motherboard 5v you simply daisy chain the fans, Same with the PWM one fan Header on the board and daisy chain up to 5 fans only, you do not need a fan hub. This explains it better th-cam.com/video/W0ev38feVx4/w-d-xo.html
thanks for the tip
Thanks buddy
Thank you
Sir thank you for this video. What if i dont have rgb connector on my motherboard?
Oh so that’s why I can’t control the light for all 4 fans I have ….i needs hub I guess
Is the three pin female cable included in the package or do we need to purchase it separately?
How is the air flow in this fan
I had it for a week now and its really good my GPU never passes 55/57 degrees on high performance, and quite but not super quite there is some sound but i guess as any other fans
ok i need to make clear and ask:
- basicalle its possible to connect up to 5 arctic fans together by connecting them each other with the 3pin connector and put them on the 4 pin mainboard connector.
- but i want all my 5 arctic argp fans run with color: how to do it if i have only one ADDR_LED1 connector on the motherboard?
Which Software are you using to controll the RGB lights? SignalRGB,and OpenRGB doesnt work for me.
Not yet sadly im still waiting for Hub to arrive
Just use the software of your motherboard
And make sure you plugged the argb cable the right way
Can you connect 7 A-RGB fans together? or has it to be 3
I believe arctic recommends not doing more than 5 connected together on one single hub
^^^^ this is true
