This is a brilliant idea as a 10 year planner when tracking a family members medical stuff. It allows for that data to no longer be in my personal CommonPlace planner and talk about an EASIER way to find a certain procedure/surgery/appointment. Can track seizures, medicines, PT, Blood pressure, wound healing tracking, track temps of your child if they have been sick. Document behaviors of your child. I like the idea about putting a line down the page and making it a 10 year vs a 5 year. I can actually use this for 2 family members. Hey.. this could be a pregnancy journal and then track the next 4 years of your child’s life. How fun would that be! ❤ So many great ways to use this!

I haven’t bought a 5 year journal because I couldn’t see myself keeping up with it for that long. With your design, I could journal on and off for years. I could be using that journal for 10 years or until it is fill-ish.

Love the spillover idea. I just started a five-year Hobonichi last year but I realized when I get to year five I will have almost no room because of the quote at the bottom of the right side page. Since yours aren’t dated I could totally migrate this years into your version. 👍🏽❤️
This is exactly what I want to do. I love Hobonishi's design and I an currently finishing my year 2 in a 5-yer techo, but the quotes if something I just can't get over
Hi Catherine, first, thank you for always making great products!! Second, for the stamps, could you please make it a A5 length acrylic card, so that we can stamp all 5 years at the same time instead of one by one? Third, I am so excited to see the 5 year diary! Simply amazing!!
The freebie card will be very small. But I think you can easily put the stamps on acrylic ruler or something and do this.
I’m thinking a 1 year SOAP study book! 🥰. Love that it’s dated, but full freedom!

1) you timed this SUPER well! I was just looking at the hobonichi in person videos yesterday and the issues I've got with the cousin, I have with their others. Dropping this video a few days before their drop is genius. 2) Would you be able to do a full 2024 lineup video? I saw your IG post about the booklets and I think I love the idea of them, but to see a flip through of everything would be really helpful to figure out what all I want. I already pre-ordered 4 planners, but have pivoted and need more stuff. Again, as someone who definitely identifies as "weirded out" by all the colors/textures/patterns/etc of all the other planners out there, I cannot thank you enough for creating this business!

I was planning on buying the Hobonichi 5 year diary, but now, I have another wonderful option. 😊 Good idea, to add those yearly stamps to each order.

I was DREADING buying the hobonichi 5 year but it was the only one I could find that was acceptable to me, but now I can have a 5 year to match my B6 and A6 common planner stack ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Now I regret getting the 5 year Hobonichi for 2023-2027 last year. But then again, I really don't need another planner right now. I think I'm all set for now. Though I really like the idea of how versatile this is (like all your other products). And I love the fact that all the pages are numbered! This is also a good reminder for me to test out some of the inks I have in my planner. This way, I can also use my stamps more too. Part of me wants to get one because I really like the Mist. Though would there be a way to skip the stamp? I don't think I will need it for a while... I think I've made a whopping 1 entry in the 5 year planner so far.

This is great. Reminds me of the leuchtturm 5 year journal but with grid and TRP. I’m just worried about the longevity of the cover. Maybe I’ll get one in 2026 when I finally finish my leuchtturm one. 😅
I love the flexibility of this planner. As the section lines are unobtrusive, I immediately thought that it could be used as a page a day journal, or for faith or reading notes. I started a Hobo 5 year this year: it's fine but the quotes are a bit of a distraction for me.

@SterlingInk - I love the idea of the date stamps! Is there any way we can convince you to make the full calendar set? Months, days of the week, 1-31 - all in the fonts you use? I love the look of the stickers, but even moving them around in placement, they bulk out the planner - I am very much team skinny planner... Thank you for the consideration! I look forward to adding the 5 year planner to my arsenal-just have to figure out what color I want. Stay safe and be blessed.
