You will regret that decision; i did the same thing, owned 2 zr2's eventually got rid of both and purchased a new jeep rubicon; it wasn't for me so I got rid of the jeep and purchased 2022 bison zr2.
I don't regret decisions on car projects ... I rarely keep vehicles more than a couple years out of my compulsion to have something new. I get bored pretty quickly just driving vehicles. I like the process of personalization more than ownership. The Bison was a great project and capable vehicle but was very dated in many ways from lighting to DIC / user interfaces to transmission and powertrain performance. Dont get me wrong for the price the ZR2 Bison is hard to beat but it always felt like a 2015 truck in 2020.
Richard, great content. Referencing your videos as I prepare for AEV lift install of my own. Have you confirmed the presence of the 3rd battery under the main? I was under the impression that eTorque did not come with the small battery under the main
Awesome, welcome to the Jeep family! 🙋🏻♂️ can’t wait to see what you do with this.
Thanks , Its not my first time with a Jeep but I have different goals.
I don't own a jeep but your content is always great! I'll definatly be watching.
It took longer than expected to get restarted but it should be a fun build to share,
A setup to hold a 37 and fit it from factory? New to me, rad!!
Check out AEV Conversions www.aev-conversions.com/vehicles/jl-wrangler/
They are a OEM supported up-fitter and the JL370 is a pretty complete set-up

You are correct. e-torque systems use the 48V PHEV battery for all the secondary battery functions.
Congrats on the new rig!
Thanks! one project to the next but you know the gig
@@exhaustinglife Haha for sure! Hit you up soon, so we can link up!
What happened to the zr2?
Ever couple years its time for a new project. I honestly ran out of things to do. My Gaia trips for the last 2 years shows over 6k off highway.
Richard, you've gone to the dark side...LOL, Still loving all your how to videos on your old Bison.
Lol thanks! I don't plan on stopping with Colorado / Canyon content as I made a lot of good friends and will just be featuring their vehicles.
