My daughter in law is a HUGE Allison Krauss fan and has always talked about her and the way that she played the violin/fiddle. I'm not a fan of Blue Grass music BUT here recently Alison Krauss showed up on my page and I thought I would give it a listen. Well I was blown away!! She also told me that she is a 27 Grammy award winning artist. VERY IMPRESSIVE! I was so impressed with her music I went and bought a few of her CD's. She has such a beautiful unique voice and her band, the way they play is just outstanding! Her voice and the band compliment one another very well 🙂Thank you Victoria ♥
Both Alison and Ronan are covers. The original well worth listening to was from Keith Whitley, a country artist who was very influential and passed at a very young age due to alcoholism. This is a country song but Alison is without a doubt a bluegrass great, has done country and even has done a couple albums with Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin. Her musical influence is also widely felt. She has 27 Grammys!
It also makes me think off people who just dont say i love you that much. They can show it by a look, a touch but also in the things they do for eachother. Making her fav dinner on a heavy day... things like that. Such a great song❤
🎼🎸 .. I have loved this song , and this singer for many years. .. it has other versions , but this one is my favorite. Alison has a voice that goes through your whole body. Check out her duet with Brad Paisley , "Whiskey Lullaby" ... 👍
While Alison is considered a Blugrass artist, this is more country than bluegrass. Try her song Steelrails. A tear jerker would be her duet with Brad Paisley Whiskey Lullaby. Her voice is like an angel
The first time I heard Alison was when she did the album with Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin. The album was Raising Sand. I think Alison and Robert are touring together now or very soon
Ronan Keating's version was famously used in the film "Notting Hill." Both his version and Alison Krauss' are really nice. I'm not familiar with Keith Whitley's original.

My local radio station used to play a “duet” of Keith’s and Allison’s versions. I don’t know who did the mashup, but it was gorgeous.
also .. check out the amazing duets with Alison Krauss & Robert Plant ... "Gone Gone Gone" & "Killing The Blues"
Allison Krauss is definitely one of my favorite singers, she has the voice of an Angel

This is not in any way Bluegrass. This is Country-Pop.
Thanks for letting me know.
