Refinishing our kitchen cabinets behind Rogers back! Trying Magnolia Home Cabinet & Furniture Paint!

Hi friends! This was a fun and stressful DIY! I waited until Roger went out of town and decided to refinish the kitchen cabinets.
This was also my first time using Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines Cabinet & Furniture Paint. How will it apply? How will it last? Is it worth the money? Only time will tell! There were pros and cons to this product which are detailed in the video. Here's a list of the products I used in this video:

I have heard mixed reviews about this paint but I DEFINITELY have some strong opinions about it! New video should be out in a few days!

I use Sherwin Williams alkyd paint and paint with good Purdy brushes. The paint flows beautiful and it’s durable. Ive painted three decent sized kitchens with it and its been awesome.

Green looks much better than the grey. Could you maybe tell me what color your living room walls were? 🤣

Behr antique Ivory. I will say that when it was up against the green paint, it brought out some yellow. If I had to do it again I’d choose something with maybe taupe undertones? A cooler shade

Atta girl! It’s a good thing they love or they’d divorce us🤣. Even he admitted at the end that he likes the green better! I KNOW BEST!

I just painted my bathroom vanity with beyond paint it came out decent
I would get wherein Williams or Benjamin Moore for kitchen cabinets

I’m going to try a different product next time for sure! There were not a lot of reviews on the magnolia paint at the time. I really wished it worked better for me!

The bubbles probably was due to too much paint on the roller

It just might have been. I’m liking the finished product now that everything’s done…you don’t notice/see any bubbles on the doors.
