FATAL Self Defense Techniques - How to Defend Yourself With Standing Submissions - The Best Moves

- The Best Self Defense Techniques - In MMA training, I've found self defense techniques which would be incredibly powerful in a life or death situation. Learning how to defend yourself in a dark alley is different than in winning a fight in a mixed martial arts event. This series of standing submission moves is completely lethal, so please be careful.
These should only be used in a true self defence situation where your life is on the line. My website can teach you how to fight in any situation.
howtofightnow.com
I have a HUGE pile off MMA technique videos which can be found free at How To Fight Now .com - The Fight Smart Training Program.
Lot's of people want to learn how to fight, but they have no idea where to look. You can find a lot of street fighting videos on TH-cam, and a lot of videos titled "how to win a street fight", but most of them are crap. I personally don't want to learn from some dude punching a couch cushion in his back-yard, with his twitchy girlfriend holding his IPhone camera... but that's just me.
I created the fight smart training program to teach people how to fight with REAL TECHNIQUES that work... I gathered them in my career as a professional fighter. If these techniques work in the cage, they will certainly work in a street fight. A lot of times, I had these moves used against me... and it hurt.
I don't care what your purposes are: self-defense, a personal quest, or just to be a more powerful bully... it doesn't matter. My job is to provide you with the realest fighting moves out there, and to teach you how to fight and win every time. Be sure to check out my website... I have far more video on howtofightnow.com than I have in my TH-cam channel.... and they're free.... because I'm cool like that.
Check out the website and good luck learning how to punch, how to kick, how to do Jiu Jitsu, how to do Muay Thai kickboxing, and how to do any of the other Keywords that I'm trying to target by writing this channel description. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
"That's not my problem"
"...That might actually be my problem"
Fucking hilarious.
Love these videos, after being in martial arts for most of my life ( I'm 51 ) and after a two year fright with cancer ( I've been given the all clear now ) I find that I've lost so much ability to defend myself. These videos gives you the basic no nonsense techniques to defend yourself.
a big thanks
Always being able to defend yourself or being comfortable knowing that you can is very important. Also I know this comment came very very late but I’m so glad you got the all clear for your cancer. I really hope it hasn’t come back
haha was I the only one worried about the demonstration guy?
me too lmao
Me to lol
nope
He's a loose cannon
3:29 my soul left my body😭👌
I could hear this guys neck cracking
ya lol
hahahaha i heard it too...
***** yea i heard too .. lol
Joseph Haley ..........all these years later.........still cracking ! Maranatha !
+Joseph Haley Thanks for the video content! Sorry for chiming in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Schallingora Family Friendship Scheme (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is an awesome exclusive product for revealing some simple military style self defence techniques to protect your family minus the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my old buddy Taylor at very last got amazing results with it.
"share this video to your friends"? no thanks..
not until u tell me how to counter this
Hahaha!!
Lmao, for real

2 hands on one if you ever feel wrist under neck you want 2 on 1 control . Also in fighting its important that when your in close you don't let them break your posture hence don't let them get the clinch to begin with. Make sure you bring your knees back down just as fast you throw them out that's for every strike you want them returning back to start as quickly as possible so your time your left vulnerable is lessened. Any time you do anything offensive be aware of the defensive openings it leaves your opponent. Just thought I would add my 2 cents about that.
All of these moves have counters and prevention... you can't even begin to implement these submissions until you can grip their head. View a few college level wrestling matches... they have plenty of moves they can't do; but you can see how they break and counter all sorts of grips. Generally fights start off with striking; and move quickly into grappling. Most martial arts has ignored the importance of grappling.
Also... you need to be in shape and have strength. Moves, knowledge and tactics only goes so far.
Trav I like how you break things down and make it very clear and understandable. Plus the comedic aspect helps make these videos not only informative but also entertaining. Thanks!
lets put a video with fatal techniques on the internet
what could go wrong
this one video on the internet in 2014 showing a fatal technique actually isn't doing any harm to anyone. knowledge is better than not knowing about this as someone could do it to you and kill you and you wouldn't know the first sign of it without any knowledge of it.
annnnnd this is 2014 if someone wants to know a fatal technique to killing someone google it i bet you will find a million and one ways +
All of this shit works, with piratic you can go look up how to make a bomb right now if you wanted to do some damage or hurt people. Should we just delete anything that could be used as a weapon? No its called self control
Yeah, because normal people don't know how to kill somebody with a knife or gun.
this guy is skilled and funny as hell. good combinations
3:50 O__O DUDE! What. was. that. sound
poor gregs neck
No worries. Just a chiropractic adjustment for free.
Lol i think there are little sound effects
The sound of his knuckles cracking? lol
Thank you man... makes me feel good to hear this stuff.
Lmao do u comment on your videos😂
I really enjoyed this video. I am a army sergeant who has bulging discs and pinched nerves at multiple levels in my neck. I have a concealed carry permit but I am a firm believer that I need to know how to defend myself and family without my weapon. You tell it like it is and I love this video. Thank you for putting it on TH-cam and explaining it.
Glad that ur putting out more vids man. I love ur stuff and the entertainment u also provide. I tried to check out ur website a while ago and I had some trouble with it so im headin there now to give it another shot!!
I thought I was so smart looking in the mirror behind Trav "Ha! He forgot to block out the...oh...denied..."
Same- I feel bamboozled
Yup, shammed lol
as a fellow martial artist, i love your videos.
keep up the good work!
This guy is AWESOME!!! You are BY FAR the most helpful person on youtube for ALL combat instructional videos!!!
Great video, Trav! I learned me a little somethin' again; And actually on your forum I said I wanted to learn some "standing submissions", so this was perfect! appreciate it!
Thanks, Trav! Try to do the program exactly as written so you can get a feel for what others go thru. Can't wait for your feedback, my friend. I do my workout following the program exactly as written EVERY time. Its a lot more fun that way, and takes away stress big time! See ya!
Thanks homes... I'm glad you can identify :-)
great techniques Trav.Thank you.
Don
dude 100% its nice to get the little details in moves that most youtube bjj vids lack
Tip: Don't go in the dark alley.
stfu im batman
Man, you are hilarious and informative.
I really enjoy the practical approach towards self defense and taking on an attacker! The humor is great as well.
Very impressed, Trav. I was JUST going through my feed..and, bam..there you were 😆. My grandfather was a pro boxer in the 20's! So I KNOW the basics of hand-fighting. As I watched a few of your videos, I really realized how good of a patient teacher you are. I can also see you were in a big advocate of MMA, which I've myself, wrestled for 12 to 15 years. I kick myself in the butt for not being born in the last generation LOL! I appreciate your humbleness why you teach, instead of having somebody teach who thinks that their shit don't stink. I'm currently 40 years old, but my body has gracefully aged thank goodness! I would love to come to your gym sometime or where you're at. I'm currently on the East Coast, so I'm not sure how far apart we are. I'm definitely looking for some self-defense tips though being I am getting older. My hands are really fast and I am a lightweight at 155lbs, but I know I got a really heavy set of hands because I've been told plenty of times in my life. As far as my kicks go, I DO need to work on the. 1 of the things that you taught that I think is SUPER important for beginners ESPECIALLY, is Keeping Your Head Off Centerline as you throw the heavy right, so you are AUTOMATICALLY at an angle to, not ONLY dodge a MONSTER shot that could put you to sleep if it connects, but set YOURSELF up for a DETRIMENTAL left hook that can REALLY put 'em out! I appreciate you, brother..and, like I said, I would DEFINITELY like to harness my skills by YOUR hands! Very PATIENT! Keep up the good work, brother! Peace and love
7:22 is Gregg okay?
xd
*hears crack
Thanks for teaching this using extremely clear explanation!
I think I understand now. Love how you interact with the people that watch your videos too btw, you seem much more legit than most of the guys on the internet :)
"when you feel the guy's body go limp or heavy thats when it stops" you're like a modernday robin hood hahaha
Well, if you don't stop, you go to prison for manslaughter.
I like Greg because he always takes the beatings
Thanks for the tips! I don't really like fights and usually will just walk away but we all know it's not always an option. At least now I know a little more what to do. You've just gained one more subscriber!
watched loads of these techniques online but get bored halfway into it because they just seem to go on and on but i could watch this guy all day well done bud keep it up
Greg disliked this video 121 times.
InnerSpaceTravel1 lmao 2017 making me laugh
222 times
225 now
rofl
The neck twist/crank its no joke, I dont even put much pressure while rolling and ppl tap all the time.
even the first standing technique is realy easy to do long term damage. please be carefull
Oh ya I know the feeling with gi, I learned most grappling no gi, so the first time I walked into a grappling class with gi I got my ass handed to me by a dude half my size with a super cool neck sub with my gi. I was more mesmerized how he did it than pissed off that I had to tap. He was the instructor there ;D
itsacharliegoround
hopefully these techniques will only be used to save a life.
Love your info and you attitude . Thanks .
DUDE!!! you are extremely entertaining i just subscribed after watching 3 of your videos keep it up brotha i love it

Very instructional video, and very thorough explanations. Thank you!
Excellent demo. something practical and can be executed without need of much power.
Greg's poor posture is cringe worthy.
I thought I was the only one that noticed that
just like your face reno
Yours would be too. If you were havingTravis beat on you all the time LOL
You're one to talk about cringe
Poor greg. :')
love your vids man!
Your mix-up combinations of humor and teaching is superior! would love to train with you
He's just man handling that guy.
yo that second one...
poor Greg! He's being thrown around like a rag doll.
Yep! My last one was of Elvis. haha
Lol
More videos please. These are awesome.
Good stuff Trav!
this guy is hilarious..but a great instructor..where is your gym??
Tom Anthony ..........is he still around ? Peace ! Maranatha !
Yea he's still here lol I talked to him a couple days ago and asked him why he isn't uploading...his answer was, and I quote "I don't know!"
7:21 OMG!!! I Still searching for signs of live!! poor guy now I feel like I'm in love with him... wanna cure him!
that escalated quickly
This video is awesome Love it!!
Very good channel! Awesome and informative videos! Well done!
Poor Greg..
it seems strange...how to get control of a person's head...after all they probably would be throwing punches...
step out of his punches (maintain the 90 or sugar foot position) knee him in the chest and grab under his skull if he walks back stay agro and keep into him or else he'll the get the gap and have you backing away with no power and you'll be disadvantaged
ok thanx....will need a little practice...
Philip Buckley
ok try krav maga i was hoping this was a channel on it.
thanx....
Start with a Muay Thai clinch!
I had to quit quit Krav due to my messud up schedule. This helps keep me on top of the self defense game. Keep up the awesome video work!
So glad i found this channel haha, I like implementing your techniques during sparring! Keep it up!
I Did this to my younger Brother now he collapsed what should I do
Go steal back your Legos before he wakes up
Uhhmm, I don't think he's waking up
Turn yourself in
I tried the neck breaking one on my brother, it went a bit wrong i ended up breaking his neck i can't believe that i watched this video i really don't recommended that move on anyone guys even if your about to die
VelocitYxClan lol wtf i hope you are kidding
Why would i?
which part of "absolutely don't do this at home" did'nt you get?
Sorry my English is not my main language sorry!
Bs
Trav been watching a lot of your videos, I have a few years under my belt in MMA and Krav, but you really know your shit man. Thanks for the videos, love what your doing!
Good vid man. Like always
She me thing very uncomfortable about him teaching random people simple enough ways to kill a person. Surely the chokehold is enough or a knockout punch? But the move will literally kill some dude if done right... Why? Lol
Dexter C if the person you're fighting wants to kill you...then it's best that you eliminate him first. Unless you want to die...
If you are properly trained you do not need to kill, break a wrist or leg. You assume the person actually "intends" on killing you. If an individual has proper training, there is no need to kill the opponent.
Dexter C ...........study Akkido ! Maranatha !
+Dexter C Sometimes killing is just fun ya know
Teaching neck breaks on youtube for free,,,,,,bad idea
+Exhale Chemtrail how much would you charge?
I would judge people's character for a time before blatantly showing people how to kill. People are beginning to learn things with no filter online and will soon be using it on the public. This is how reality works.....
+Exhale Chemtrail So many things wrong w/ this, let me just try to keep it short with only a couple points...First and foremost, if someone just wants to "kill" as you put it, I don't think they're going to be trolling TH-cam to find the best ways, they'll just go get a firearm. Secondly, what makes you think you're fit to "judge" someone's character? Professionals that are specifically trained to do this can't do it regularly; and you're going to pick and choose? Does the name Nidal Hasan mean anything to you? . Not trying to sound harsh or anything here, take care brother.
Yes i don't know, I just know three kids messing around in the living room with the moniter up could get in some real trouble with this. Kids love to test all these moves out when they hit the net.... I see your points though I am no judge.
@@CeasareBorgiaSuX dunno why I never got a notification on this...sorry for the extremely delayed response :)
I see your point too. For sure there is the likelihood something like your scenario could happen. I just think it's a slippery slope to start charging content creators (on YT or elsewhere) with the responsibility of ensuring people who use their techniques have the same level or morality as you or I may. I can see that easily transferring to practically everything else, including (yes at a ridiculous level of example here) the fire department teaching folks how to put out fires...because to understand how to put out a fire you must first understand how they start and feed themselves. Most probably the next step would be firearms instructors and folks like that. There is just no way to control all that...except by good parenting.
I like the lovely multi-threat tie in. Spot on. Deal with the first threat as quickly as possible.
Excellent, realistic and entertaining videos.
Man I love your videos ,, you are awesome !!!
cool bro thanks for the vids. looking forward to more.
Badass man, I'm liken those reactionary moves that an attacker isn't going to expect when he lays a hand on you, the element of surprise and exploding energy will turn them into the surprised one trying to defend against shock & quickly dealt pain themselves! Thanks again for the lesson. Joe T.
Informative and entertaining.. I like this guy!
Great stuff!
this was great instruction. Thanks
I love how you make it funny and informative
Hey buddy. Been a while. Just watching your old vids. (Obviously) wanted to say hey and hope you’re doing good. I’m sure father life is kicked in 100%. It certainly has for me. Been using your stuff in my solo training. Head movement stuff and such. Any way, again, hope you and the fam are happy and well😎👊🙏💪
I like this guy video. He is precise in his instruction! Thumbs up!
This dude cracks me up, thumbs up!
All your videos are dope bruh, keep it up. Suggestion, could you possibly make a video on how to calm yourself when about to be in a physical confrontation so you don't forget everything you've learned and what not. I know trained fighters they prob dont have this issue,! But for regular dudes? Appreciate your stuff man!
This is a great useful for street defense technique and ennjoy the way you've put it.
Love your videos bro
Amazing your techniques have absolutely saved my life!
You legitimately mean what I'm thinking?
Sorry I'm 7 years later, but I truly would LOVE to read your story
Love your Vids man ! Keep it up
SUBSCRIBED

I really need this lessons buddy ,i have a lot of enemys on the street,Keep it Up!
Great video man, explained very good.
Loved the dead trembling guy imitation
Men i really love your videos!!! You know how to teach!!! Keep uploading these great vids!!! I learned a lot Thanks to you!!! Gracias y saludos desde Uruguay!!! Thanks from Uruguay (and sorry for my english)
This is entertaining, if anything, and it's teaching some very basic stuff. I can't help but like this. Thanks.
Loved your head movement video. I'm a smaller guy and glad my dad had me learn Japanese Jujitsu for self defense in the 80's. It's not used in MMA because there's no time to let your opponent tap, just Snap, Crackle, and Breakage
Thx u for all your tips man your great
Very nice video as always, you actually had me cracking up when you were talking about multiple attackers and "snapping your boys neck"
Man you're one of the funniest commentators on Facebook, you got yourself a sub, and I'm going over to howtofightsmart to see what else you got going on.
this move works great when someone is trying to shoot in on you for a takedown too. that step back is key. trust me im only 5ft3 and ive used this against opponents. GREAT LESSON!! I love the way you break every detail down
Legendary mate much respect
Awesome, thanks!
Round of applause for the real MVP, Greg, What a champ!
Thank you for what you do
Man you r awesome really !!post more n more
This guy is hilarious and he makes very sound tutorials. thanks guy!
