Congratulations Bruno. So impressive: thoughtful, confident and with a brilliant sound and effective expression. Really top quality rendering of this demanding piece. You are a star.
Bruno Martin has the uncanny ability to let his audience feel transported back to the time and place piece where and when the piece was composted and first performed in the "cantabile" (singing" style that Bach, for example, was said by his son, Christian, to prefer. This is just just one of many such wondrous time travels Bruno offers, in which the exotic flavors and scents of the Middle East mix with those of the West so enchantingly.
Amazing… I love his Les Cyclopes piece. You are my favorite modern harpsichordist. Can you kindly provide some details on your harpsichord background? Please post more. Excellent interpretation/arrangements.
@@BrunoMartinsHarpsichord I would love to know your opinion 😊 as someone who knows the piece so well. I posted the link, but unfortunately TH-cam instantly deleted it 😠 It’s easy to find though, if you search „Alexandra Dovgan Rameau“ My grandfather was a church musician and played harpsichord very well. I usually don‘t like it when these baroque pieces are played on piano, but the Rameau sounds beautiful on both instruments
SO BEAUTIFUL!❤️Ive played the piano since i was 10, i am 18 now and ive always wanted to pick the haprsichord.Do you think itll be hard for a pianist to adjust to the harpsichord?
Great - the instrument has a fine sound, the acoustic is clean and crisp, the playing a delight to hear and enjoy.
I am very glad that you appreciated it, thanks a lot!
never seen this guy, straight out of nowhere, very impressive, very complex piece, super cool
Very happy that you would enjoy it, thanks a lot!
Very elegant and "cantabile" way of playing! Excellent interpretation!
I stand grateful for the appreciation!
An Interesting and musical approach!! Bravo!
It’s very kind of you, thanks a lot!
whaou didn't know this piece, great ! The ending is absolutely non expected
Thank you!
Refreshing interpretation. Well done!
Thank you very much!
Side note, I love your red harpsichord 😀❤️ It looks and sounds beautiful
I liked it too! 😉
What a unique and interesting rendition of yours!! Especially the beginning section is so rare rendition.
Thanks a lot!!
Delicious! Rameau with lasers! Thanks a lot from Brazil!
Might be the most "free" performance of this piece I've heard.. Liked it! :)
My student came up with a similar “free” performance. We shouldn’t get locked into later centuries’ views about notation and interpretation.

C'est vraiment impressionnant, merci beaucoup !
Fantastic. One of Rameau’s more difficult suite movements. So we’ll done.
Glad that you enjoyed it, the difficulty here beautifully serves musicality!
@@BrunoMartinsHarpsichord Your approach to the harpsichord is unique, but to a point it reminds me of Gustav Leonhardt's touch.
@@MAMRetro I'm so honored that you'd think that, I have a huge admiration for Gustav Leonhardt.
Love this piece and very well payed by Bruno Martins!

Les oiseaux dans le ciel, beauty music. Charme et elegance.
Thanks a lot!
I love this piece, this one and the allemand 2 from first book of harpsichord III are the pieces that sound the most delightfull to me
Rameau is indeed quite the unique composer! I love his repertoire too.
Merci pour cette interprétation passionnée !
Ravi qu’elle soit plaisante !
Una verdadera danza nocturna ... maravilloso.
Thank you very much!

....YES !!!!!❤
Very fine performance a very fine instrument. Rameau at his best. Is the last chord really correct? What a statement. Severe .
Excelente interpretación
Very grateful!
¡Wonderful! Greetings from Colombia
Thank you!!
Muito brabo!
Obrigadão!
Wow, nice piece. Was that a "discord cadence" at the end? A 6th in there?
Amongst other things, an « end of performance » cadence! It is an incredible piece.
Very very good! ......enjoyable to the max! Almost a bravura performance.
Thank you very much!
