Thankyou. The Training centre explanations are robotic and give no time to take it in. These tutorials should be speak, then the learner carries it out STEP by STEP.
This is a well needed video Considering the new amount of people that are coming to the game now Brilliant, And for many people who have forgotten Here's a reminder Cheers ace
:)
You are correct and there is another way of doing the voltage change run it like a Metro-North M8 where they do it on the move between Pelham/ Wakefield stations to New Rochelle where it is a run on Northeast Corridor Trenton to Boston via Providence Rhode Island and Yale University New Haven. Happy New year
This is video is useful as the tutorial in game explains this quickly with a lot of other extraneous information and left me going Whaaat??? LOL. Thanks for this.
Glad it helped!
This helped me out big time for days I didn't understand what I needed to do this is a brilliant sim game though funny where you can see your house ect
If your house is present in the game, amazing!
Thank you for the steps in changing the power source on BR 395 Javelin. I think the CTRL is a short form for "Control" .All the best.
I think British Ace mentions it
Channel Tunnel Rail Link.
@@BuzzRain Txs Eric. I apologized to BA about my assumption. I have come across the abbreviation CTRL used to indicate CONTROL.
Cheers mate ,that was getting on me nerves lol your a star
Omg thank you you saved me from getting angry
There is another place where you can do this it's actually the training center itself because all tracks there are 750v DC Third Rail and Overhead Wires 15kv 16.7hz-25kv50/60hz
Yeah Joe I think you did a video on this when the southeastern highspeed came out
Lots of help, cheers 🥂
Happy to help!
I'm continuing to having issues on the pan up shoes down button. I keep pressing it twice but the volt doesn't want to go up?
hmm I'd say make sure you're in neutral
@@TheBritishAcehey when I'm doing DC u say click the pan up shoes button once or twice but the guide person says these words "close the circet breaker to draw power". So if u could explain it would l d help and also this video was well understood I liked it
Thank you this guide is super useful
How do you get those cool following footage from out side train at the end "that was really neat" nice vid loved it T Sim 3 newbie right here lol.
Could be the 8 cam on keyboard :)
@@TheBritishAce Thanks Ace is that F8 ? or is there a camera setting I am not seeing.. thanks again.
My mcb light won’t come off. Close a circuit ? How ?
Press Pan Up Shoes Down again :)
I have a problem on the class 395 tutorial where I have to change cabin and go to the ebbsfleet station. I practically follow the instructions described: I insert the key, I press the CC button, I press the frame up / skates down button and then close MCB. the problem is when I activate the power that the train does not go forward. if I see the Hud on the right it increases me up to 41 (the blue line) but it doesn't go forward. how come? what am I doing wrong?
Make sure the reverser is set to forwards after the power change :)
@@TheBritishAce the gear is forward but does not go
Thank You
Mine just keeps telling me to close a circuit breaker
@Strangepidgeon I’m not gonna lie i somehow figured it out by spamming the buttons on the control pad that connect it to the cables and it eventually worked I haven’t touched the game in a minute but after I get done in town I can boot it up and give better details if the button spam doesn’t work 😂
outside of the training stages of the sim how are you to know when these changes need / must be made? Yes a N00b Q :)
Should let you know beforehand :)
@@TheBritishAce Thank you for getting back to me. Appreciate it very much.
thank you
You're welcome
Where we need to change power (DC to CTRL and CTRL to DC)
Yes, on the left hand side of the reverser
@@TheBritishAce where/at wich station ?
I know this is a two month old video. I just watched it and it helped me out a lot because I was so confused on how to do it. The tutorial does not tell you.
Good to hear, I'll pass on feedback to DTG
Is there anyway to raise both the pantographs?
Don't think so, not on this train at least
@@TheBritishAce aight thanks mate
❤
Thanks
Cheers John, much appreciated! Thank you
ok but i can't do it when the train is mooving pls help
Whilst moving, perhaps not put it into neutral...good question
@@TheBritishAce
I have to let it go forward?
what do you do if MCB / VCB is lit?
Hmm press the panto button I believe
and what to do if you do not podpimayutsya?
If you don't change power, "you'll be going nowhere"
How do i know when to switch power mode
You have to do it at Ebbsfleet International :)
Thanks downloaded from game pass then got stuck for ages at ebbsfleet
what about other train on tsw on pc?
Any specific train? The 801 is cool and similar
Did not work for me
If followed correctly, it should've - make sure you hold down the CTRL/DC button until its lit
Thank you😭this game does a terrible job at explaining anything
Yes cause i cant find this circut breaker
@@joshandrenniebrown9762 - I needed to press pan up, shoes down twice to get into AC mode. You have to wait a little while (10 seconds maybe) between the two presses as I had the same issue otherwise.
And it's that easy. All mine is doing is shouting about a circuit breaker. Which it doesn't appear to have . I really hate this train. Its got to be the worst train ever put in a game. It never works .
The 395 or another train, when it shouts it is usually a German one
This does not work !!!!!))
Should do, make sure you're fully setup.
Trash guide
Have you followed the steps correctly? Maybe do so again.
Thank you.
No worries!
Thanks
No problem
It didn’t work for me
Remember to hold the buttons down for a few seconds
