I've had this two months. My pedal drive does not come in and out nearly as easily as that guy shows if it is connected to that front hinge. I have to force it in there pretty hard. I've ended up just not attaching it to the front hinge if I'm on a river where I need to take it in and out. Kind of a pain since you then have to set it somewhere. Also keep having to tighten a washer and cap that fall off my left pedal. This is their first ever pedal drive and it kind of shows.

I would say no. This is more for lakes and bays IMO.
