Want an example of how famous Ran Ran Ru is? The Master of Vlad in Fate/EXTRA is a reference to the meme, to the point that she's called Lil' Ronnie in English and Run Ru in Japanese. Though given her unpopularity I expect her to be given the Vlov treatment.

Fun video, enjoyed the format! One thing I noticed is that Resurrection of Heaven's Liquor was developed and published by the circle disfact, not danmaq. Danmaq's also probably much better known for the fangame Concealed the Conclusion (aka the one where Reimu dies)

Highly Responsive to Prayers bad endings had the world exploding and Reimu saying: just kidding to the player
Story of Easten Wonderland had Marisa telling the player they cant beat Mima and the amount of continues they used up to that point
I dont remember Phantasmagorias of Dim. Dream but im almost sure it had one

This tradition continued onto the windows era with the flandre moment in the video for Embodiement of Scarlet Devil and im not sure if this is true but i heard Yukari also does this in perfect cherry blossom but i cant confirm, it seems the tradition was lost somewher between IaMP and Mof

Here’s the crazy thing: Danmaq, the one who made the Alternative Age and Resurrection of Heaven’s Liquor went on to make Concealed the Conclusion, which is regarded as being one of the better fangames out there.

Touhou 12 at some point had a ransomware that locked ur files until you got a certain amount of points on lunatic tho
