We’ve binged on your uploads thanks for them although my brain is exploding on all the info. We’ve been in the local howdens liked what we saw but but we’re nonplussed by when I asked about fitting the job, was pointed to a wall hanging craftsmen card organiser of all trades and told to ring up whatever took my fancy and work directly with whomever we selected. So they just sell what is selected and then do a pontius pilot.

The installation is the most important part of the job. I think it is essential that whoever supplies the kitchen takes control of the full job. It is only when it is being fit that any problems begin to show up.

Absolutely fantastic. We always try to work these in if we can. In fact we will be doing a video on this topic soon. Basically if we can provide extra storage, hidden away, it allows us more freedom with the kitchen design.

Bespoke is a word that's used liberally to say the least.

Couldn’t agree with you more. To my mind a truly bespoke kitchen is where the entire cabinetry is made to the clients specification. So if they wanted to alter the design of say the door, then it can be done. In effect there is no set range of units and everyone kitchen is unique.

Hi I am in scotland and looking at getting a new kitchen in next year or so. What's your thoughts on HOWDEN kitchen? And ikea kitchen? Do you recommend any thanks can't afford the high end kitchens

Hello Rebecca. That’s a big question and I reckon a good topic for a full video. Howdens, are affordable , and value for money at the quality level they are pitched. They don’t pretend to be anything they’re not. Whereas some kitchens of similar quality are unecessarily , more expensive. Their design team are more sales than design led, so try to get involved with that yourself, don’t just trust them. The other thing would be to try to get a top quality fitter. That can make a huge difference. Ikea I don’t know that much about. Some of my fitters have installed them and tell me that they are very difficult to fit so don’t try to do that yourself. Good luck with your project.
