A little petroleum jelly can help a lot with that as well. And of course when you wash,, same stokes down.down,. If you try to wash back and forth you'll just push the glass deeper into pours. Dude you got an awesome style and skill. Truly a joy to watch! Thank you,for the honor of viewing. Thanks!
As usual, Nick has a GREAT video series on the Bowie handles. The tricks Nick shares can be used on most any handle. Nick is a real asset to the knife making groups, not only has videos, but also his time spent sharing on knife forums. Thanks Nick Ken H>
Nick - I have been specializing in Chinese swords, but I still love the vids. I make a camp knife or a fighter every now and then, and this information is priceless. Rock on. Oh, is that a Corby fastener acting as a pin? Novel idea. You should come to the Ashokan gathering in the Fall. This year is the sword year, and a LOT of amazing talent will crawl out of the woodwork for it. You will love it, if you come.
MrTeeball Thanks buddy, I'm glad you have been following along and enjoying them. While the design is a little different, the same steps went into your knife. Thank you for your continued support my friend! :)
YOU COULD DO WITH A DUST EXTRACTOR SET UP NEXT TO THE SANDER HAVE THE INTAKE RIGHT NEXT TO THE SANDING PLATE. THANKS FOR THE INFO. NICE WORK MATE. I WANT ONE OF YOU KNIVES.
Great job, great skill and a great dog ( new foundland I think). By the way I noticed two tubes behind flat platten of your grinder: is it a water cooling system or what?
Harry Mullica Thanks Harry. :) If I have a LOT of handle material to hog off I usually go to a 36X. However, the G10 abrades away pretty nicely with the 50X or 60X ceramic 3M hoggers.. and that's what I was using in the video.
at 3.54 all about that bass by meghan trainor is playing in the background...this video was published in 2014 but the song was released in 2015...illuminati confirmed
At 9:33 mark huge black bear walks through shop, directly behind Nick. 😂
