I am having a difficult time understanding everything the judge said at the end. What does he mean by he is appalled. And why does he say "but that's not enough". Can someone please explain it to me? About the but that's not enough part and what does he mean with what he says
As public figures, they're actions are open to scrutiny by the community at large, and depending on how well known these public figures are, they can also be considered role models of the people. Therefore, they have a responsibility to live a clean, lawful life. Their money and fame should not be used as a means to allow them leeway in illegal activities. Also, just because they have this money and fame does not mean that they should be put upon a pedestal that allows them to see the law as simple requests to adhere by instead of what they actually are -- the law.
I hope I made some sense in my explanation.
