My daughter caught a glimpse of me watching this video, saw Troy and said, "that's the annoying guy with the broadheads." 😂 I'm dying. The fact she even knows who he is, is great. She's 11 years old. These are wonderful animals and so benificial to mankind. It's good to see people who care about the preservation of these wonderful animals by shooting them with arrows. It's a more personal touch and I'm sure these lovely animals love the fact that you took the time give a personal touch.

I always wondered about the large flocks of turkeys grouped up. 30 years ago I could pretty much set my watch by 37 birds that would walk right under my archery stand to go out into the field and catch grasshoppers.

my experience with cutting pig hide / skin is that blades with teeth work MUCH better than a regular smooth blade. the downside is that sharpening them is a lot trickier but at the same time the teeth do not have to be as sharp as a smooth blade would need to be to cut through skin.
Looks like a blast, definitely no shortage of pork.
I have had a hog lease for 3 years now and I've killed around 100 pigs in my life with a bow. It's my year-round pastime. On smaller pigs (less than 75lbs) I've used two blade mechanicals with great success. Especially after I started shooting adult arrows haha. Larger pigs I've had far less success recovering the pigs because of poor penetration mostly.
The last video inspired me to give some more fixed heads a try.
Last night I killed a 109lb boar hog - complete pass through with an Afflictor broadhead.
The blood trail was basically nonexistent however I did hit a few inches high and back.
The only reason I found the pig was because I brought my dog to help track it. The pig went 60 yards. I like the effectiveness of that head but the blood trail sucked.

Pro tip - soak your toothpicks or skewers in water over night while your marinating and they won't burn.
Kind of a random thought but I would love to watch you guys hunt small game with a bow. Even tho I dont personally do it often I only hunt deer right now but i guess I just appreciate the skill it takes to hunt small game with a bow
Low poundage would be required and blunt type heads its done a lot with trad gear not so much high powered bows for obvious reasons. You can also use judo points too but one shot they are done.

Warb. You should be testing the redemption. No bow press needed. If it fit you as well as it did myself I don't believe you would want different. I've found its quiet, powerful, fully adjustable with an Allen set.

The single cam looks like the same one on the species ev with a different riser maybe longer ata . Curious what it turns out to be. I recently went back to an older bear single cam (domain) . Love the easy tuning . I use a portable bow press at home to work on mine .
