I know makeup isn’t really an essential item, but it is essential for my wellbeing. I love makeup and it boosts my confidence and mood. 😊

I love the looks you’ve been doing with all the different palettes Julie❤ I never had the original palette and I’m soo tempted to pick this one up! My eyeshadow collection is massive at this point, but I just love the color story of this one and with Fall coming up I just know I will get a ton of use out of it! It’s like, do I need it, NO, but do I want it, YESSSSS😂😂😂

Thank you so much! If you have the money for it and know you would use it, it's an iconic palette that would be worth adding to your collection but I totally understand about not needing it 😅
Most of us have enough makeup to last a few lifetimes 😂😅

😊Love that you're still using the palette. My oldest palettes I still have are from 2016. I own old Too Faced, Tarte, Etude House and ABH. And I still love them. I don't wanna get rid of them as long as they bring me joy

I love this palette so much! This was my first high-end eyeshadow palette. I used it like everyday! I must have repurchased three times. I was so sad when they discontinued it. I am excited for the relaunch. I just purchased it and is excited to use it.

I still have my original one and have brought it out and started using it. I do not get rid of my makeup, until my face breaks out or my eyes fall out, lol.. I’m gonna get my monies worth 😂 Companies only put those expiration dates so they don’t get sued. If my lipstick smells bad, I toss it. I’ve been on a low/ no buy for the past two years and to finally see some progress on using my products up is such an amazing accomplishment 🎉 Love the way this look turned out.

Hi Julie, Yes, I'm very excited. I never purchased the original naked palette. I will buy it when it goes on sale. I have the dupe Rimmel Magnif Eye nude palette.

Good morning! I think the UD palette was always beautiful…just wish my eyes weren’t sensitive to many of the shades, which are lovely. Your look is classic and stunning. Love the MR blush…I’m adding it to my cart. Reviews say it lasts all day, which is what I look for. Some of my drugstore blushes fade on my skin. This pink is such a pretty color! 🩷

Love the look Julie! I just declared mine after 11 years. I honestly have mix feelings about it, I am regret I did it but also I noticed mine didn't have pigmentation at all and the shimmering shades became very opaque. Now I'm more into bright, sparkle, colorful eye shadow pallets. Thanks for bringing back beautiful memories with this palette 😊.

I love that palette. All of the older palettes are better than their new ones!! The Naked palette was my very 1st expensive eye palette. My 1st cheapy to practice with was WNW 9 pan ugh. Starts with a C i think and had that pretty green/blue brown in it. I think it was in 2014 or so that i started wearing shadows n stuff.

One of the big shifts that I went through was the awareness of having way way way too much makeup I kept buying that I couldn’t even use. I got really turned off to excess and to this day I struggle with declutter videos that keep showing how many people have enormous and unused collections.

Lol. The worst is joining sub boxes. You end up with so much stuff that you will never use.

I didn't get this palette till it was being discontinued, so mine isn't that old. But I didn't really use it that much. So I busted it out and plan on using it this fall. I think that eyeshadow formulas have gotten a lot better, especially with indie brands compared to mainstream brands, but I still love all my eyeshadow palettes. ❤

I still have my original one and bought the new one to compare and I like my old one better. But will use the new one. I love all the UD shadows. They were the rage along with MAC. I remember I was into the Kevyn
Aucoin days and he was the king of contouring and prob the guy that made it popular and I have all his books and still refer to them. They were my holy grail then. 😊 Thanks for sharing. ❤

I read an article about older palettes like yours. They tested it for bacteria other contaminants. There were none.
Nostalgia has been getting me lately. I was tempted by this one. I had to think about it. Then I remembered, I didn't even like the urban decay formula 😂

Yes, I totally agree! I'm sure that as long as you used clean brushes on clean eyelids, stored the palette in a temperature steady dry place and only used it on yourself that powder products can last years past their recommended expiration date! I'm not one of those people that gets scared of things that are past the expiration date unless it's smelling off, not performing as it used too or does irritate my skin, I'm going to keep using it! Makeup is too expensive to just throw out because someone put an expiration date on it. I know others will disagree with me but I say just do your research and do what you think is best! I totally understand people that wouldn't feel comfortable with it and I think that's ok too. Everyone has to do what they feel comfortable with.
I will say that I bought an UD Naked Palette back before they discontinued the palette in 2018. I ended up selling that one on Mercari and that formulation on the eyeshadows wasn't as good as the very first palettes they released back in 2010/2011. I know that Urban Decay went vegan with their formulas at some point and once they did that, I just don't think that their formulas in some shades were ever the same. If they hadn't changed their formulas and kept them exactly like this original 2011 palette they'd be killing it but that's just my opinion 😅
Though like I was saying in this video I haven't used or swatched this re-relase of the UD Naked so maybe it's different than that 2018 palette but I've watched a few other videos of people comparing the 2010 palette with this new one and it does seem to be slightly different and it looks to be like that 2018 Naked Palette and not the 2010 palette.

I never got the original UD Naked palette and I’m still not getting it because $95 is too much for me. I would love it though.

I still have my old Urban Decay Naked Pallet. I just don’t use it anymore. I felt like the shades weren’t preforming properly. I did end up picking up the new one. I do enjoy it and I find it performs just as much as the original version.

It looks good on you. But I think maybe you're too young to remember the hype about its original release. I got excited back then but it was meh. Still the same formula? I've moved on; Natasha Denona, Pat McGrath, heck even Smashbox is way better. Thanks for the video.

I was 26 when the original UD Naked palette was released in 2010 so I definitely remember the hype! lol
I do think their 2010 formula is different than the current UD formula and I do feel that this 2011 palette is much better than UD current formulas. I totally agree with you that there are a lot of other brands that have come out since this palette that are just as good and some even better but that still doesn't take away my love for this palette, I will always and forever love this original (2011) UD Naked Palette!
