Good kei van toys are hard to find here. But save the suitcase room for stuff we can't get in the states.
The radio trick you need to do is changing the boot logo to a screen shot of a jdm gps screen.

Thats great you are visiting Japan. I will be honest, the last time I visited I did not pay attention to the cars. I made Stright for the watch stores because I wanted both a Casio G-Shock GW-5000-1JF and a Seiko with the Japanese(Kanji) day wheel and bought some Giants and Yakult Swallows hats.
As for double DIN car radios. You need to make sure to get a wide band FM radio and it will work. The Japanese use 76mhz- 95mhz for their FM. If you get one that has a range of FM 76mhz to 108mhz then it will work in both Japan and the USA (AM will not as it uses a different step). I brought back 2 Japanese market Panasonic digital table radios and they both work well in the USA for FM (I have to use batteries or a voltage convertor on the account of Japan being 100v

Be wary of Big Motor, they have been rocked by scandals of puncturing customers car tires on purpose to sell them new tires, or scratching them to sell new paint jobs. And this wasn't isolated to one dealer, it was endemic in the entire network. Plenty of TH-cam videos about it.
