I’ve known Will Hardy since he was a kid. What you see is how he really is. Incredibly thoughtful and smart guy. Genuine.

jazz fan here: I used to think Quin Snyder was a genius, he has a MBA and a JD, hes a smart man. When he left because he didnt want to rebuild i was like man, we are going to get another bad coach for a while (remember the Ty Corbin era post Sloan? YIKES).
but will hardy has convinced me of two things: 1) Will Hardy is a great coach 2) Quin Snyder did not make adjustments and lowkey is a highly overrated coach. His slick hair and belt buckles, the way he can speak so eloquently seduces fans, but hes not that great of a coach

Can't help thinking as Will described the scene in San Antonio about Steph, Klay and Draymond staying together with Steve Kerr. Continuity is a beautiful thing when you have talented players. And Steve has his relationship with Pop. Love it!

Interesting story, great interview!
Solely on the basis of his personality, I'm saying that this man is the best coach in the league. And that's not a knock on other coaches, it's just clear that he is players' coach and that the team absolutely loves him.
He'll get there, but he is not yet. There are adjustments in the playoffs, winning a couple of series etc. But he has a very bright future and work ethic to get there.
Love this being a life/journey pod and not just bball. Shoutout to ry for bringing out the human in Will

Wolves fan here - love that Coach Hardy gave Mike his respect, he's done wonders for us here. As much of a petty interest I have in Utah not doing well at times because of the Rudy trade, there's no denying that they have a hell of a coach. No shot they're anywhere near the play-in without him.

As both Jazz and general NBA fan - thank you for this interview! I could listen to coach Hardy for a long time. Besides his amazing voice, and pace of talking - I wonder if he isn't one of the smarter coaches in the league, only in his 2nd year.
