I know you can use a flying machine but it's a lot less versatile in some situations I actually don't know why this work but I assume it has something to do with the ability for minecarts to pull other minecarts
Idk why so many people can’t get the fact that you don’t HAVE to ride with the minecarts. If you want to follow along save a couple chest minecarts and ride with those ones. This might not work very well on servers because of unloading etc, especially on non-vanilla like Paper. However, you can keep the rails and it'll serve as an infinite propulsion without powered rails etc.
The self-propelling Minecart has got to be my most favourite bug in the entirety of Minecraft's History. It's been around since Beta 1.9 (Possibly earlier, haven't checked) and is still in-game to this very day and has made Minecart travel an actually practical form of transportation since using powered rails is rather resource intensive and the Furnace Minecart is really slow and impractical compared to other forms of transportation. The Ice Boat highway may be the fastest but personally minecart travel is much more fun to me. The only drawback is that in servers it can lag a lot or just not work depending on the plugins installed. In those cases a boat in a Minecart can be a good alternative to perpetual minecart movement.

This is not a glitch. Glitches are unintended outcomes due to errors in the code. This, on the other hand, is basic entity collision at play. Minecarts can push boats, players, mobs(if minecart is boarded) and themselves. So many minecarts basically always keep pushing another one of the group.
This will make traveling and moving things so much easier! No need to use s boat to transport shulker, villagers, etc! Also congratulations on 720 subs!
I found this glitch a while ago while I was testing on how hopper minecarts work and I wondered what would happen with entity cramming minecarts lol But controlling it is REALLY difficult it needs to have an already pre set track also u could use it for a train with your friends also also it doesn't lag as much it causes like 5-10 frames drops so not really a lag bomb also also also its kinda impractical since u don't really need to carry that much items or you have shulker boxes

I know that very trick because of ElRichMC (Spanish Content Creator) since he had to get creative in his 1.8 survival world, he used it in the nether to make it better

Cannot carry an infinite number of items because entity cramming with limit it to 24 minecarts. 24 x 27 slots = 648 slots. If you use shulker boxes then 648 x 27 = 17,496 slots. 17,496 x 64 items per slot = 1,119,744 items. Its a lot of items but nowhere near infinite.
@@nh_999 I don't think they will. You can place multiple entities within each other, and that is pretty much the only way to stabilize the entities so they do not get flung everywhere. Two sets of minecarts colliding would probably either spread all minecarts around, or they will simply bounce away from each other. For justification, if you make a minecart rail system leading to a 1×1×10 block deep hole, and send minecart via the track into the hole, the minecarts stack on top of each other, instead of combining. Also, watch the end of your video, when you got off the minecart. The two batches did not combine.
According to all known laws of physics, there is no way a minecart should be able to move forever. Its wheels are too inefficient to maintain its speed on the ground. The minecart, of course, moves anyway because minecarts don't care what players think is impossible.

I've tried this a ton of times but it seems to break often which is kinda unfortunate
You can just lay rails the entire way if it breaks (which it might on non-vanilla servers like Paper), which saves you powered rails regardless
