    Oh Ghana in this 21st century still have no computers for the use of recruiting soldiers, in such huge numbers of applicants. In this case all they needed to do is to divide them into smaller groups....If they set up agencies to help in enlisting applicants too, there will be corruption. 🤔
    The Star General of the military services have to step up. There can be fund raising for the necessary equipment needed for this course and I believe lots of entities within Ghana and abroad will be so happy to help.

    This is a terrible sight. So money generated and borrowed by government will all go into paying salaries. Could they not be encouraged to form co-ops for farming in collaboration with the agric ministry? We import chicken, beef and others from all over the world and the youth are looking for military recruitment, the only job available? How about the police service to help them fight crime?

    • @markntiri8251
      @markntiri8251 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      These numbers would "try their luck" with the military, those not selected would then try their luck with the other security agencies or any available job. It's sad where we're heading. Our authorities SHOULD seriously sit up and be addressing these employment issues before things become dire.
      Foreigners are also coming into our space to compete with us for the few available jobs.
      Luckily for us we're a blessed country and only need good leaders/policies to turn things around.

    • @markntiri8251
      @markntiri8251 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We should expand our agric farms, provide large scale SUSTAINABLE irrigation projects, not the 1Village 1 dam type, enhance our fertilizer, agric extension, certified seed, storage etc systems and PUSH these teeming number of youth into them to produce food to feed Ghana AND ECOWAS/Africa/world at large.
      Our markets are some of the biggest money makers for our largely informal economy. The authorities should build/ refurbish MANY MULTI-STOREY markets all over the country. The markets are big employers and would employ many people
      We have a thriving "school economy" that the govt should seriously exploit. Our school children SHOULD be fed/clothed etc with GHANAIAN PRODUCE/PRODUCTS. Our schools should also be expanded into high rises to handle larger student numbers adequately. Etc etc
      The authorities SHOULD get working, there's so much work to do

    Funny enough, the mindset of vocational skills training among the youth is the problem. In Ghana majority of Ghanaians don't respect technical skills men and women. Meanwhile in Europe and America they are the ones who employ alot and also have money. Now is white colour jobs or military and police service. if they tell the youth to be part in commercial farming in Ghana you will not see even 200 applicant but all they know is nurse, military and police service. If you finish Snr high school or university you can still learn skills training so you can feed yourself. I blame the Ghanaian politicians and government for not helping the youth.

What would they be doing?
