- In this video I tell you all of the changes for the 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz. The 2025 Santa Cruz refresh comes with a slightly updated design on the outside and moderate updates to the interior. The Santa Cruz remains a popular compact pickup truck however only available in two ICE powertrains. The interior gets new dual 12.3" screens, Bluelink+, HVAC controls, and Digital Key 2 Touch depending on a trim. Blue Stone exterior makes a return in addition to Canyon Red and Rockwood Green. New H-Tex seating surfaces are standard on SEL and higher with real leather on Limited. Santa Cruz should be available later this summer with allocations already starting. The best trim may be the SEL w/Activity and AWD, and the traditional 8 speed automatic trans.
I'd love it if you could get all the goodies in the XRT or Limited but with a normally aspirated engine and traditional gearbox. I've had my '22 Limited for 3 years now (I ordered it and came in early August of 2021) and have had no power train issues - the only issue was with the passenger seat bottom's pleather separating from the backing in one small section which was replaced under warranty - other than that smooth sailing....

You answered exactly what I was looking for! Now all I know to at I’ll personally miss on the XRT trim is ventilated seats. Not enough to push me to the Limited. I’ll be going to pick one of these up once they drop! Now to decide between canyon red or California sand.

I wish they would’ve made the 2025 Santa Cruz front grill like the new 2024 Santa Fe with the square front and each headlights etc. It would’ve been real nice
Here it is August and no updated information. Allocations? Pricing? Arrival at dealerships?
Still nothing on my end. I will post more information when I have it. Allocations have been pushed to dealers about 6-8 weeks ago but still no pricing or date of arrival. The very first units have been built.
I know it's funny but rear seat arm rest with additional cup holders is (for me) a game changer - to be honest with that and if Hyundai would add heated rear seats it would be as perfect as possible. Not too sure if I'll "upgrade" to a new '25 Limited or XRT or just keep my '22.
Any estimates on when production begins and when it will be available at the dealer on the 2025 models?

I was thinking about getting the 2024 when the 2025 comes out. Often times, dealers discount the older inventory when the new inventory comes in. However, I do want the wireless Apple CarPlay, the tow mode, the displays, and the canyon red color. So I will be waiting for the 2025. I really like XRT so I am hoping to get a heated steering wheel in that trim level. If not, I will opt for the limited.
Unfortunately, we already know packaging and the heated wheel will only be on the Limited. Looking forward to seeing Canyon Red in person! Out of all the 2025 Santa Cruz allocated thus far, Canyon Red is only showing up on XRT trims. It's possible that will be a trim specific color.

As a '22 Santa Cruz Limited owner - I'm thinking of a '25 - I'll have to see if I can "live with" the XRT as I really like the styling but am a "techie" also. The emergency pull-over feature I really do not like - I may just keep my '22 Limited ;-)
I'm interested in trying it out in a safe environment!
Are the new colors available on Every trim line?

It's a very low volume trim and honestly I think one of the least desirable from a price standpoint.
I'd like to buy one, but I also think the colors suck.
They need to loser the 4x4.5" built pattern. Too CAR like. Please, 5x127 MINIMUM! And STOP with the 6" back spacing. 👎🏼
If you're making it like a truck, cut the cross over car wheel junk.
The thing that held me back buying one of these is the dogshit transmission in the higher trims and when it comes to the SEL it doesn't have radar cruise control that even a cheaper Sonata has.
Yeah it is surprising to see the absence of Smart Cruise on lower trims. It could very well be a feature they add in the future between model years.
