I think the occasional big enemies are guys you need to kill in order to revive one of your bat friends. That's how it works in co-op. I know this because I have friends.
Dex the whole thing is s sonic the hedgehog reference. The moving background is the same pattern you had in the chaos emerald stage in one of the sonic games. Sonic picks up rings throughout stages. The blocks are also sonic chaos stage reference.

@@jh302 Well, Blue Spheres came as a result of the Sonic 3 & Knuckles Special Stages, those are how you get the Chaos Emeralds specifically in that game, it was brought back in Sonic Mania as well to act as a challenge for acquiring Medals in which to unlock additional content for that game, and also functioned as a minigame too.
And this update is on the normal public beta as of some hours ago. Some of these Darkanas are crazy but, to be fair, they are competing against the existing heavy hitters so they need to be a bit crazy. Now we can actually do an ALL Weapons ALL Passives run without modding the game though... and Queen Sigma or the Scientist Amogus are probably really flipping good for that.

The elven rings were made by Celebrimbor without Sauron's involvement, which is why he can't find or control them. So Sauron only made 17 of the rings.
I don't think it would be very good but the other bats would get healed by Lifesign/Paranormal Scan. Also, as someone who is Pro-Attractorb, I like Bats messing with you. :D
Dex i think you might have completely missed the point of this character. Presumably if your not doing a solo weapon run they also get all your other weapons. And they might even benefit from some of your other Arcana affects ( as an example there's a new Darkanna that causes explosions when you lose health, if they benefit from that for example think how many explosions will happen).
It's all a sonic refrence with the 9 rings being the 9 emeralds, the background with the spinning ball it's a refrence to the mini game in sonic 3. When you got blocked off by those crystal walls they are from the mini game in the original sonic. Yes I'm living under a rock, and I am a sonic fan.

i think this update with bats and room 1665 sets a precedent i hope the game will adopt going forward. amount is a very underused stat and i think characters like poppea and concetta really highlight how sometimes its just fun to see infinite scaling in action and hope one day we get an amount equivalent, and room 1665 feels like it has an actual objective and reason to play which i wish more maps had. maybe in the future we can see maps with full on objectives or alternate gamemodes, like defending something!
I just got the game again for mobile, unlocked everything in the base game and secrets included. Buying each DLC one at a time and It's a blast. They put so much into this amazing game.
Yup bat country is a sonic reference, both moving backgrounds are special stages, the giant sphere is from sonic 3 special stage blue sphere, while the rotating one is from sonic 1 special stage.
I'm pretty sure the three pressure plates are to toggle on and off the moving background, one toggles the grass/dirt other the weird sphere and the last one puts a rotating checkerboard pattern behind the sphere

About arcanas, i think the max you can have is 6 because i just had 2 chests down, one was normal and the other one was an arcanas one, i took the normal one first and got a triple chest with a arcanas inside i was at 5 acranas already then when i took the 6th one, the arcana chest turned into a normal chest so yeah

Hm... I think the extra bat players would be pretty useful in the never move challenge, now if they could pick up chests they would be perfect... Just for that specific challenge
Isn't this just the new best Paranormal Scan character? Keep in mind it heals ALL players. That means you heal your bats, and they heal you. I'd assume your new bas would also get the scaling from Paranormal scan as well.

You have to kill the rolling bones asap AND also preventing the other Skeletons in running into that bonesball. Deaths scythe works pretty good. There are some good about that on Youtoo.
unrelated, but i just did a queen sigma run testing darkanas at carlo cart to get the final character i missed rq. idk what i did, but i ended up earning "5216283000000000000000000000000000000000000" gold, i apologize if i missed a couple 0s, hard to type them all edit: it was also a hyper run and said 1.7x gold, and i had the darkana to always get a gold fever/orb/etc

Get the paranormal scan and aim for immortality with this character with all the max hp and as many revives as possible
