- Howzit going everyone! There is some exciting news teased in this video...wait until the end to find out!
I could not believe my eyes when I saw this Red Stumpnose/Ms Lucy when I was spearfishing with my mate "Porkus"! These are DEEP water fish and to get one off a shore dive has been a dream for a long time. Today it happend!
Hope you enjoyed this one and are looking forward to the next EPIC adventure up the coast in KZN....

Nice fish for the long swim! When reaching the rocks again the current always push to the east. Like when you want to enter Blou Gat, you find yourself pushed to the right onto the rocks. I guess its al about timing

Advice as to how one get into spearfishing as hobby?
Start slow - snorkeling and easy diving until you are comfortable. Once you are familiar start thinking about getting a decent wetsuit and reliable goggles before anything else! Diving ability and shot accuracy come with time, but you can learn fish behaviour very quicklu jsut by observing them. How they move and react to your movements! Above all, don't rush, just enjoying being underwater!
