Inside A Vibrant Farmhouse In Colorado Provides A Rustic Contrast And Modern Fixture

To achieve an agrarian design that blends with the landscape, we envisioned a Colorado farmhouse complete with a guesthouse. The design features three distinct buildings, each clad in vertical painted wood siding and fieldstone. These structures ascend a hillside, creating charming courtyards with their exterior walls.
In the living room, early American trusses provide a rustic contrast to a modern light fixture and a pair of Art Deco chairs upholstered in raspberry and cream silk velvet. The entryway features lively sconces, a mirror, and a curved 1940s oak buffet. In the dining room, the designer added midcentury chairs with cushions covered in Chiang Mai Dragon fabric.
