However, I lean towards the idea that they are. I have met others that use other prop firms and showed me proof of payouts. There are some legit firms and some not so legit, i believe or at least some with a worse reputation than others. As far as the rules are concerned, they may vary slightly between the different companies. There is usually a profit target, draw down limit(daily and total), and consistency rule(meaning no one day can exceed a certain percentage of profit target or total profit). Most companies offer different types of challenge accounts. Sway offers three different types; one is a 1 phase evaluation, the second is a 2 step evaluation and the last is a three step evaluation. Each one will have slightly different rules. Best to check with the firm on their website or what have you
